If it was about bonuses, in any other organisation if you quit your job you lose your entitlement. Doubt we'll ever know what it was really about but i'm sick of hearing about this 'dignified silence' he keeps harking on about. He's only got his dignity when it suits him.

Sometimes i wonder the standard of player some supporters think we can attract to fir park. Jeffers showed on Wednesday that he still has the vision, touch and finish to more than compete in the SPL. I would certainly keep him for another season and see what he can offer. To think we can attract a player much better than him is frankly, delusional.

What it proves is that if prices are reduced for a big game then more people will go. Its a win-win for the club here, we're in the 1/4 finals which the club does not budget for and a replay at that. If we made only £1 profit from this game it would be a bonus for the coffers. To make it £10 every week would most likely not result in the same numbers turning up and the club losing money. It would only work, financially, if all clubs charged £10. We've got to remain competative, even though its way overpriced.

dont tell the pipe and slippers boys '68. old c***s

Dont think paul mccartneys got anything to worry about. The whole first verse is made up of only 2 words.
-
Thats what annoys me the most. Players/managers think its a step up, maybe 30 years ago but now they are skint and are piss poorly managed at board level.
-
Been too many games to mention, but heres some 1. Skippy sunday 2-1 Motherwell 2. Motherwell v Celtic 3-3 3. Hearts 2-1 to get to the CIS cup final 4. Kilmarnock 1-2. Strange choice here, we got beat at FP but we absolutely hammered them that day. Wave after wave of attack and somehow managed to lose. 5. Dundee Utd 5-3. Obviously game will be remembered for other reasons, but anybody who was there witnessed a tremendous game for 75 minutes. Dont think the highlights were ever broadcast either so you would have to have been there to see it.

Brilliant. general consensus is that we are: 1. scum 2. bastards

They've really thought this one through. Another 50,000 watching the game in pubs across the west of scotland, just means the problem will be spread out further and even harder to police.

the motherwell rollercoaster is clearly the looping star. no a fitba team.

Very inconsistent. Took ages to book Forbes, he committed a series of fouls before getting booked. Contrast that with Lasley who got booked for his first. Forbes could easily have been sent off for persistent fouling.

Bit of both now i've just seen it again, maybe not a stonewaller but a pen none the less
-
c**t wasnt going to give the penalty though, waited on the linesman to make the call. Stonewaller.

Dont think anybody seen that coming Great result for the team and McCall, who has been under pressure recently, well from the posters on this board anyway. One result wont make anybody a great manager, but I feel he is starting to show some quality. Great reaction from a terrible result during the week.
-
Poor decision making has made him look terrible today. Shooting when should have crossed and crossing when should have held it in the corner.
-
I've been itching to say that for ages, its utterly guff patter.
-
Both times we had players in the box. Hold it up and look for the pass, I was taught that playing for the Miners under 12s.
-
See when Humphrey gets the ball, look for a man and dont panic and try a wild shot just to get rid of the ball. Thats twice he's done that now.

Cant really argue with what the poster is trying to say, but I feel there is more to it than that. There are other factors putting people off. 1. The supporters are taken for granted; i dont need to explain that, think that has been covered many times on the boards. 2. Going to the football is just no fun anymore. Cant stand, cant shout cant do much apart from sit in yer seat without some overzealous steward harrassing you. 3. Pricing. The standard goes down (way down in my opinion) yet the price goes up continuosly. In no other business in the world would you get away with that! 4. Going to the same grounds season after season, watching the same product is repetitive and boring. The 10 team league proposal does not change that (again, covered elswhere). I gave up going every week a couple of seasons ago, frankly had better things to do with my time. Still make it to the odd game and the cup, but much more than that really dosent interest me as much as it did when I was younger.

As soon as anybody done any sort of due dilligence on our club, there would be no takeover. A dwindling support, uncertainty over the league reconstruction and TV deal because of it, does not make us (or any team in the SPL) a worthwhile proposition.
