My recollection is that resch had a run in the team and doerner barely featured. He was still shite though and had a shitey leather jacket.
Just checked - Dorner had 2 games, resch had 3. Both left us for darlington and did better there.
There were a fair few shite players from that time
Paul Harvey was another that comes to mind

I was at a party a few years ago that John Reilly was at, he tried to tell me that basically the whole time he played for Motherwell he had a broken leg! Some excuse....
I also remember a guy who was really honking who came on as a sub (debut) in the same game that Mario Dorner debuted. Can anyone think of his name??
Franz reche?

3-5-2 for me
Carson/ griffiths (I'm indifferent on choice)
Kipre heneghan McManus
Tait Cadden McHugh bigi. Dunne

If 442

Cadden McHugh bigi frear
Bowman fisher

I'd have liked to have seen him in behind the front two in that ryan Gauld position that he played at Dundee Utd
However we never ever had the players around him to afford that luxury position
-
A wee cash windfall before the end of august would be just splendid

£2m rated oxford player Marvin Johnson linked to Leicester in the English sun today . Tidy add on if true
-
Notice he's been quick to say how delighted he is about joining killie, but failed to thank anyone at Motherwell fc for his time there.
Talent is one thing but a good attitude and desire is another and for me I didn't see any evidence of the latter two during his time with us
Don't wish him any harm and hope he goes on to live up to the early promise that he showed when he first came on the scene

Let's try and get at least £300k for heneghan then get dembele and a pacy striker in and use a small bit to improve moultys offer and il feel a bit better about next season

I'd have thought it'd be Heneghan tbh. Not based on anything other than the fact we've chosen to offer deals to Moult and McHugh just now whereas Heneghan's a "sellable asset" that we've not made an offer to extend AFAIK. I get that we've said we can only offer new deals a couple at a time so there's obviously prioritising involved but it seems significant that we've got deals on the table for 2 but not him.
Apart from that I saw a couple of mentions of Sheffield United being in for him the other day as well. He's been one of the players that there seems to have been consistent chatter about. How much of it is credible IDK but given we're actively looking to sell then not offering him a new deal right now seems telling IMO.
I think that would be the clubs preference but I reckon it will be first to offer the value for whatever of the 3 that the buying club comes in for
I just have a feeling that someone in England will be in for cadds before we are able to move heneghan on
-
I'd pretty much put my mortgage on one of moult,Cadden or heneghan being sold before the window closes.
Would prefer it to be heneghan and for us to sign dembele as a replacement but I am about 90% sure it will be cadden for some reason that gets sold
That frees up funds to bring in the two he wants
Outwith that clay,Blyth and bowman is who I understand to be the 3 on the way out
-
Reckon we might see a defender sign up in next couple of days
-
Any info on Tuton and dembele? Where were they playing last season?
Appear to be the pick of the bunch today
-
On a plus side, looks like there were some shots from outside the box
Don't think iv seen a centre mid do that in about 5yr
-
I think when Cadden does go it will be down south
I know of interest from at least 3 English clubs and firmly believe that those around him in the club will advise him to move south than to another spl team particularly outside the old firm.
I think at least another 6 months-1year playing in a more central position would do him and his value the world of good though
-
Whilst our defence is more pressing i still think we really need another forward and none have been mentioned recently expect the guy who's on trial and doesn't exactly sound like a proper replacement for McDonald.I could still see us losing Moult late on and scrambling about for a loan in the last week of the transfer window.
I think we need cover at the back as many as 3 defenders depending on bens situation and another 2 forwards to replace bowman and Blyth who I don't believe offer anything going forward
4 including moult/fisher id be content with up top
2 defenders plus Ben/replacement at the back
And poss another option to sit between the midfield and forwards would give the 5 more signings that burrows referred to on twitter

If I could like this 10 times I would.
If I could like this 100 times I would, well said!

It's not wee fat Harry Forrester is it?
I have a feeling we might see him join us, just a feeling mind you
-
Dom Thomas reminds me of Adam Coakley and the parallels are scary.
Very true or Paul slane

What huge early promise was this?
Some fans made him out to be a better player with every game he didn't play. He's never done anything of note in all of the chances he's had in the first team.
Spoke to a number of people at the club who over the last 3 seasons have been excited about his potential but wary of his mindset off the park
It wasn't just fans who have talked him up
Barraclough,Lasley,Hammell, mcghee,Craigan,Robinson and leitch were just some who I have heard say that he had the talent , he just needs to apply it beyond the 20s
-
Does anyone have any hope of Dom Thomas making it this season, personally cannot see it happening and suspect he will be either out on loan or hopefully manage to find another club.
I have every hope but I have my reservations
Would be a huge disappointment if he didn't make the grade this year following his huge early promise
-
Think Paul Quinn would be a decent signing actually with that in mind.
Hope we've segmented the budget though for a couple more marquees signings in key positions, centre half and attacking mid. One or two players in your team like Scougall or Allan can have a huge impact in this league.
I expect Paul Quinn to sign for Kilmarnock along with Stephen o donnell (right back) that we have looked at
-
Get something that gets us publicied and people talking about us, in a good way of course.
I presumed this was the reason for the change , however from what Iv heard it's not going to be that "out there" . Have to say if it's not I don't really see what the point of changing it was
-
Slightly underwhelmed with today's business, two midfielders from a relegated club dosnt fill me with hope but will give them a chance.
Some of the names like Scougall and Greg Stewart mentioned and interview with Burrows saying he was excited dosnt seem to come to much, but maybe I'm just being negative
Completely agree
-
Couldn't agree more
Because I was asked not to mention names because another club came in for him last night, but someone else has kindly told you who it is now so there you go
