  1. I think we have been duped as the saying goes. Clubs react to outrage from fans, ticket sales and renewals increased while all along there was a safety net in place for the cheats. And if the smaller clubs dare cry foul we will cut them off and form their own league, the main concern is looking after rangers. What a fooking disgrace and i hope Motherwell weren't aware of this or i feel an almighty backlash for them. Here's an idea why don't we just create an old firm league of celtic and Rangers give them all the money and bow every time they bestow a look upon us lowly peasants. Spl,sfa time we reminded them the game belongs to the fans.
  2. An old saying that is still apt. Form is temporary class is permanent. I heard a wee rumour of this a while ago as my extended family is friendly with his wife's family and he wanted to get his op out of the way before deciding on anything. But by all accounts he will do an Ojamma and play for bus fare for a short while to kick start his career again. I think 6 months is very over optimistic by some people tho.
  3. Rumour. Motherwell FC are to sign Robert Bayly and Conor Murphy on a free transfer from Monaghan United
  4. This is a bit off topic but I have saw the question asked on here several times. Just a wee note for people not receiving info from the well society on memberships.I was speaking to Ann last week and they are not legally allowed to send out membership cards untill they make the 1st payment (them not people taking out memberships) the money is held just now and first payment will be made soon she assured me. It's been a bit of a legal minefield for them as we're the 1st to down this road . Full of legalities like in the case of getting 9 months to make payments but not being allowed the year. I think they could fling something on the offical though to at least keep people up to date. I have been to fair park and collected the ball ,wine (very nice indeed) so if you haven't received a call to come collect you're rewards I'd give them a wee call.
  5. Sums it up for me and no season ticket renewal if the club vote yes.
  6. My wee fella got his today for his birthday plus the card from the well society signed by the players (nice touch) and the strip is really smart. On the subject of size its made by puma so if the silver kit fits then this one will too. However can i just mention quality, this really has vastly improved over the years and im very pleased with this one too.
  7. And when did we last qualify for the champions league play offs?
  8. Regardless of confirmed or not just wondered on the fans choice
  9. With Craiggs off who is youre choice for captain. IMHO its Las for me
  10. Getting very confused by this now. Someone told me we are home first as we are unseeded is this true?
  11. Aye with that attitude i hope you can get one just to tell the players how shite they are
  12. Thats what i mean he gets 4 tickets for home games and i get 2 and with the cheap entry binitiatives its not worth my while buying 2 season tickets. Just need some clarity on euro games tickets for well society members please MFC.
  13. What he said. I know this may be another separate thread but i feel lasley chipping in with some crucial goals has been vital in getting 3rd.
  14. I wont be renewing my season ticket this year as i have to pay for my child rather than free season ticket when i purchase mine. He gets 4 free home tickets with his well society membership and with season long initiatives its not worth buying for him. Myself i work shifts and missed 5 games last season and with the 2 free home games and 10% of all the others its not financially viable for me . However what i was really wondering was ST holders are guaranteed CL tickets does this also apply to well society members all in all i wont be buying a season ticket for me and the kid at £360 but have ploughed in £1025 to the well society. Will be very pissed if we are not a priority like st holders. Thanks for any clarity given as nothing on web site but at the time they didn't know we would be in the position we are so need some clarity please.
  15. I am not a hypocyite I gave up my st seat when Boyle allowed the of to take my seat that I had paid for still fucking irks me big time. HoWever I moved on and got 3 st for me and the kids thins season. I won't stop supporting the club but I will stop supporting the spl. I THINK YOU ARE MISSING SOME MASSIVE POINTS! Relegation no longer countsCheating by way of giving players extra money through illegal double contracts no longer counts. And the big one don't pay taxes sign who you want tax free and wages exempt then u have carte blanch to bend the rules and blatently cheat.
  16. But you are investing in your club and not he spl. Boycotting games makes more sense to me but I realise this is very personal to some people. I just don't want to hurt my club no matter how angry or unjust it feels.
  17. Been thinking about this for a while now and what I would do. I have changed my origional stance of if the cheats were allowed to flout the rules and be given carte Blanche to re enter making a mockery of relegation. I was of the opinion that I would forfeit my st and cancel my standing order. I now feel this is vastly unfair on Motherwell , while I am pissed at Rangers and the favourable treatment they are receiving under a huge pr spin from the Glasgow Media I cannot hurt the club I ove as they are somewhat between a rock and a hard place (a sense of right over realism) I WILL cancel my st as I cannot in my heart of hearts support my team in a fixed league but I cannot cancel my standing order this is money I promised the club in good faith and withdrawing only hurts my club not the cheats or the fixers. All those wanting to cancel standing orders if the worst (best for rangers) happens. Who exactly are you protesting against. Fair enough boycott games where the consiquences of failure or cheating don't apply. But who are you hurting cancelling money you promised.
  18. Thats a better idea, feel ive missed offers online as not been checking often enough. Vouchers a better idea well done for noticing changing and improving . Getting married next sunday any chance of a cheeky wee offer on cufflinks for me and the lad as we are all in the Motherwell tartan for the wedding.
  19. Il take the point but dont think we deserved it.
