At the hibs game in the cooper all i could make out audible was abandoned dint have a fookin clue what was going on so yes that was me and many more.
-
They are not fit for purpose and i wont go into the debate whether there worth fixing or not. But i hope it doesn't cost someone there life in a real emergency when they are really needed, fudge the issue all you want MFC you're playing with fire please don't get someone burnt.
-
Article in todays sun stating "the fire in the panel room was relatively small, but all the electrics are intertwined" and that we are racing againt time to be ready for this game. Seems to be the fire is more serious than at first thought.

What really frustrates me to hell is i no longer feel im being entertained. Im not sure if its the clubs fault (playing through fear of being relegated) or the spl and TV MUST COME FIRST or the money grabbing agents brainwashing footballers as to there true level of ability. Ok movies may take more to make but what value do i get for my money going to a match as opposed to ice skating, cinema, leisure swimming pools, ten pin bowling, laser quest, gocarts, M&D all of these are a lot better value for money as an activity the family can do. Attendances are dropping supporters dont feel valued, the spl for right or wrong reasons wont increase teams in league like 99% of fans want (too much defensive football) they pay for think tanks and then ignore them and do what SKY tell them to do FFS. Clubs will refuse to unite and force players wages down so gate prices remain high. Attendances wont be reversed by 1 off initiatives this poll clearly shows people think its overpriced and not worth it. While money becomes tighter more people will sadly have to stay away as they can get better value for money elsewhere. Sorry to be so negative but just so frustrated at how empty the stands are at home games.

I think a lot of people are thinking of the value of football, in England they have a massive fan base compared to Scotland so can charge more. This poll goes to show by peoples votes they think its way over priced in here this cannot be sustained. Prices need to come down and not just for 1 game. After the shambles of the UTD game i braved the elements again last night with my 2 kids. The entertainment value was worth next to nowt. (football not floodlight fault that wasnt MFCs) If prices are high because of wages we need to address this as what im watching isnt very good and if i didnt already have season tickets i would be seriously consider going out in that weather to watch dross.

With the subject of falling attendances being such a hotly debated subject, w hat do you honestly think the game is worth paying for ?
-
Honest to God where have you been, in the past the club gave school kids free tickets, adults in for £5 and also quite a few times kids in for £1 AND AGAIN kids in for free for ST holders. WHERE THE FOOK HAVE YOU BEEN???? All of these were a sat BTW. I can see the clubs logic a mile away cant you? Its coming to Christmas, attendances are always down with crimbo shopping, so its a fri night game no shopping like a sat afternoon. So bring on the freebies when people are able to take them? Important game and right result we might just might get some back. However sitting 3rd WTF more do we have to do. Quite simply they would rather watch the auld scum.

Right so let me get this right people bitch and moan about poor treatment , just look at the number of pages on the thread about there treatment at Pittodrie. But when someone wants to highlight it ( for ratings or whatever reasons) all we have are personal insults. Grow up and talk the walk if you were there and so vocal in other posts. End justifying the means and all that?

Teams pretty much have us sussed at home and set uot there stalls waiting on us trying to break them down. Going by the forecast long balls out the game due to the wind (not that we win a lot due to smallish forwards). However they will expect us to play down the wings Humphries/ Dailey so i would mix it up a bit and bring on Hughes give the wide play and drive down the middle with him Las and Jenno. Higdon playing the typical striker and Murphy being menacing. Daily will be wiped out by the conditions. Very tactical game tomorrow and will be close but i will take 2/1 the well.

Was in the Cooper and couldnt see this so asked a Celtic friend what it was about and he said "a banner about terrorism" what a tit, should have known better as he said they sang " oooo ahh samara say ooooo ahh samara" sounded more like oooo ahhh up the rah to me. 10 mins in BTW.

You want to watch him warm up easilly the best striker of the ball, we just play him as the holding set up player wish people would realise this.

This may sound a bit daft but it could work if things go the way they are. SPL clubs are actively seeking a review of the all seating with a view to introducing safe standing zones like abroad. So couldn't we push for this a bit more and give them the bit between the south and the POD or is it not big enough "never been in it so unsure". We cant build on it so terrace it if allowed? Agree its one for the future. Ps. put them in the Cooper and you will get my season ticket in the post again only this time it will be the last, Still sickened watching the wee chunt IN MY PAID FOR SEAT singing IRA PISH last time.

And thats why the bookies drive rangerovers and we drive fiestas. Cant beat blind faith, a fool and his money easilly parted as they say. Whats our goal difference and whats theres please re think rather than betting on hope.

Hammell for me solid as ever and always willing to drive forward. Great tackle in the box and later had to committ foul to stop killie in a scoring position.

Motherwell players fear losing Stuart McCall to English side, admits Steven Hammell Oct 19 2011 By Craig Swan stuart mccall STEVEN HAMMELL admitted high-flying Motherwell are terrified boss Stuart McCall will quit Fir Park for England. The Well full-back and pals are riding on the crest of an SPL wave under the inspired guidance of Scotland's adopted Yorkshireman. McCall sailed into Lanarkshire at the turn of the year to try to steady the ship after Craig Brown and Archie Knox's controversial switch to Aberdeen. Since then McCall has reached a Scottish Cup Final, a League Cup semi-final - and is splitting the Old Firm in the title race. With Bristol City's chase of Derek McInnes showing the path south is still open for SPL managers, Hammell fears his boss may be set to pull on the walking boots. Speaking at the launch of Well's online TV channel that starts on Friday, Hammell said: "A few of us were talking the other day about Bristol City and Derek. "It's part and parcel of doing well here that people might start thinking about our boss. "It has happened before. The more success you have then bigger clubs have a look. "But it's good if that happens because you're doing well. "It's far better than the manager being under pressure because of poor results or the fans getting on the team's back. You'd take this situation any day. "The boss has a bit of everything. He gets on well with all the lads, his coaching is good and everyone knows their job come kick-off. "Tactically, he's excellent and we are well briefed on the opposition. "He talks to us as a group mostly but occasionally it's one on one. "Every day in training, in fact, he speaks to you about what he wants in games and everything is geared towards the performance on a Saturday or Sunday. "If we need to watch DVD footage, good or bad points, from the previous game then he'll do that as well to highlight things. "His man-management is great and we have a happy dressing room. "Craig didn't leave because we were struggling or he was sacked. We were doing well at the time and I think that helped Stuart. "Nonetheless, there were high expectations because Craig and Archie had us playing well. The gaffer has now added one or two players and we're his team now." Hammell is qualified to discuss managerial talents having worked under nine managers during his two spells at Motherwell. And he added: "Billy Davies gave me my debut but it was Alex McLeish who signed me from school when I was 15. "I was here with Harri Kampmann at one stage, too. Since then there have been quite a few. Guys like Billy and Eric Black, who went down to England, and later Terry Butcher, Jim Gannon, Mark McGhee. "At one stage John Philliben and Miodrag Krivokapic were in interim charge. I didn't work for Maurice Malpas because I was down south at that stage. "All of them were excellent in their own way. Not a bad manager among them. "Most have left because they did well. We're aware this can happen. "If someone gets success here on a limited budget then other clubs take note. "I've learned to enjoy it while we can. I've been here in the bad times and we couldn't buy a win so I don't look too far ahead. "We've a good bunch of lads here who have done quite well for a few managers and, if we stay together, we will be fine. "Hopefully Stuart and Kenny Black can go on to have another good few years here." Hammell knows the fans are loving their lofty status but he maintains a short-term view and looks solely at Saturday's game against Kilmarnock. He said: "The minute we start expecting to win then we have a problem. "It is nice to be where we are in the table but we're not getting carried away. "Motherwell were second in the 1990s but Scottish football has changed since then. "We're happy where we are at the moment but won't finish there. "If we can finish best of the rest we would be delighted."

Motherwell´s Jennings arrested in betting investigation 6 October 2011 Motherwell midfielder Steven Jennings has been arrested at his home in Merseyside following a probe into alleged betting irregularities. Motherwell midfielder Steven Jennings has been arrested at his home in Merseyside following a probe into alleged betting irregularities. Jennings was sent off for dissent in a Scottish Premier League match against Hearts last season, an event which provoked probes into unusual betting activity prior to the fixture. Stewart Regan, chief executive of the Scottish Football Association, released the following statement: "The Scottish FA has received notification from the Gambling Commission that the Motherwell FC player, Steve Jennings, was arrested at his home today by Merseyside Police. This follows extensive enquiries in relation to alleged betting irregularities at a Scottish Premier League match between Motherwell and Hearts on December 14, 2010." "While the investigation involves several other individuals out with Scotland, it is important to stress that the evidence gathered throughout this thorough period of investigation has involved only one Scottish match." "Motherwell FC are aware of the situation and will issue a response in due course. The Scottish FA will make no further comment at this stage." The Association of British Bookmakers, along with the SFA and SPL, announced that they would look into the alleged betting irregularities shortly after the match last December. Reports at the time suggested that a new account had been opened in Liverpool prior to the match which had placed 500 pounds on a red card, with several other accounts making similar bets. Couldnt have been done by people seeing ref was having a mare and a bit more than £50. Now rooneys dad hardly as if he needs the money, very murky indeed.
