Sincere apologies didn't realise you're post was a joke, understand it now better in that context.

But this didnt kick off after JB left the club so i dont get youre point?
-
Hang on there's more to this story than meets the eye. Rumour has it CB couldn't get a lawyer as he "didn't want to sign one for the sake of it but get one that could do a job" sound familliar
-
That's it in a nutshell, too arrogant to accept it (saw reaction when JB pointed it out pmsl and I'm not a fan of his, but he was right on the money that day) all they have now are there 30 pieces of silver as MMG said hero to zero that's where they are beneath contempt.

Just thinking out aloud and slightly off topic but what is it with us and Utd? Was reading Stevie Kirks article in today's paper and the 91 team that seems to be cursed. O'Donnell, Cooper. McGrillen and Dolan sadly gone. Craig Paterson (cancer scare) and Kirk (heart scare). Not least forgetting The McLeans father passing away a week before the final and Phil on that truly awful day against who else but Utd again. Don't know what to say or words to express the feeling how has a team become so cursed and WTF is it bizarrely all Utd connected. You really couldn't write it. Thoughts as always with those affected and memories this fixture must bring back. Sorry for going off topic but this fixture even more so when its the cup got me thinking. Kirks article, THE SUN I miss Cup heroes we've lost EVEN 20 years on, Stevie Kirk isn't allowed to buy a drink in Motherwell. But the 1991 Scottish Cup Final hero will raise a glass to absent friends if Well repeat the triumph. Tommy McLean's legendary side has been touched by tragedy since The Family Final. Hampden heroes Davie Cooper and Phil O'Donnell have passed away since the epic 4-3 win over Dundee United. Jamie Dolan and Paul McGrillen, both on the Fir Park books at the time, have also died. Craig Paterson has survived a cancer scare and matchwinner Kirk battled heart problems. As Well and United prepare for Sunday's Tannadice quarter-final, Kirk admits he still thinks of them all every day. And he'd love Stuart McCall's men to honour their memory by bringing the Cup to Lanarkshire. Kirk said: "The memories of that day and of the team that was there - Phil and Coop - are always there. Not a day goes by you don't think of these people. "You do miss your friends. You were very close to these guys. "You lived with them day in, day out, you went on tours with them and became very close. "It is a sad, sad loss when you don't have them there and all you have got are the memories." O'Donnell was among the scorers when gaffer Tommy triumphed over big brother Jim in '91. That Final was also touched by tragedy when the rival bosses' father, Tom Snr, died just days before the game. But the cruel manner in which Well's winning team has been torn apart still haunts Kirk. He added: "Phil was only 19 when we won the Final, Coop had a new lease of life at Motherwell. "Two fitter guys you couldn't wish to meet. Phil announced his arrival that day. He scored a goal and was fantastic. "They are not forgotten. The smaller the club is, the more of a family it is and the more everybody is involved." Kirk works in the community for Motherwell and his extra-time heroics in '91 are not forgotten. He said: "In that decade Ravenscraig was closing down, the place was in a bit of turmoil and there was unemployment everywhere. "The Cup win just gave the whole place a boost. "I was at the League Cup semi-final against Rangers on behalf of the club this season. "When I came back to Motherwell, me and my mate had a night out. It didn't matter if I had had a million pound in my pocket, I couldn't spend a pound. "Every pub I went into it was 'No, we'll buy you a drink'. "As a kid, you dream about being in Cup Finals and scoring goals. But to play for one of the provincial clubs, get to a Final and win it was fantastic. "The game was hyped up the week before because Jim and Tommy lost a family member. "But we just went out and got on with it. It got a bit tasty towards the end of the game but it's a match we'll never forget."

Agree but people question my loyalty to an over rated has been striker and a manager that has yet to prove his mettle under pressure.
-
Blackman is the perfect example of what we can achieve when there's no sentiment in football. Thank you Chris but we can do better when money(wages) are freed up. You will always be a legend but time to move on.Just my view however unpopular
-
Very low double figures so lets not sensationalise. So who is clamouring for Sutton's signature lets not forget his last 3 were frees?
-
So who motivates the players? Easy for them to get motivated against OF but lacking sorely in other matches, jury still out on McCall but i will give him time not a lot but i will as previous managers have had a good start so he deserves it, but highly sceptical.
-
Comeon did we really win the game cos we were magnificent or because Celtic failed to turn up? I enjoyed the win as much as anyone else but lets not get carried away. Sutton had 1 good game out of how many? hes found his level and i want to aspire to more than that. Blackman for one shows we CAN GET BETTER ok down to the manager so time for McCall to prove his worth though im undecided on him at the moment. But we have to want better surely, when our strikers are so impotent against teams around them.
-
Sutton for MOTM Win aginst Celtic was down to them being very very poor, we have found our level simples.
-
Obviously at a different game.
-
Not we miss but he misses, hardly overtowered when going for the ball, pish game.
-
Agree with some of it then u want Sutton tied up, so do i and flung in the Clyde, player his height cant win an ariel ball is a disgrace when Hammell wins many many more.
-
Go elsewhere if its such an embarassment its a forum for all views after all, theres generally nothing to moan about when going well but plenty when not. People are posting concerns and ideas to improve, cant do that when winning so moans will allways be the larger percentage
-
Quite simply a game to forget, McCall baffled us defence panicked us, midfield bored us and strikers never turned up. Franny the Fox more like Franny the Fanny and Sutton you can have a contract for McDonalds prize draw HQ, then you might actually win something. Wake me up on Tue after we get pumped by smellic. Ps I want a refund under Trades Description, I paid to watch a football match Fook knows what i got! Professional footballers SHOULD be able to pass the ball 5 yards. Well done St Mirren you got what you deserved and so did we.
-
We were pish and didnt deserve to win. Both teams played on same pitch so it really is no exscuse.
-
Jeffers worse than a man down.

Both teams fairy even but stmidden looking more a goal threat. Ball through middle to Murphy too often and bullied off the ball, need 2 use Humphrey more. Big pen claim 4 well, all can say ref had poor halve both teams. St wide players in game too much. Nice touch craigs throwing ball to fans when ref deemed ball needed changed. ATT
