Not sure what the thoughts were but i was upset that when Jones was brought on Murphy was still played wide left. Only thought can be that Jones was brought on to link the mid with the attack, a sort of player we don't really have. It was worked not to bad to be fair. Still would have liked to see Murph more central. but thought murphy had a poor game today.

I agree that the 90's team would beat the 00's team, Shannon in there Played a big part. as said prolly just over shadowed. but ye canny take away one piece of the jigsaw also agree the 07/08 team would be great in this current league. that was prolly my last truely enjoyable season (for fitva reasons)

Siebsbarmyarmy: Sorry I've not been clear here, My point was that if we don't get a left midfielder in, Jamie Murphy will continue to be our best option there, not where he'd like to play, or where i'd rather see him. No left mid brought in though and he's our best option. Were as Steve Hammell is a good left back, I can't imagine him causing terror in opposition defences

Because he's not a Left midfielder. Same Pish was spouted about Mark Reynolds for years tae (put him in Midfield/left back) I also don't think Johnny Page is a left back. could be wrong though

Our game is in dire need of a shake up. for the grass roots up. Canny say I'll stop going but I struggle to get excited about the fitba the now as it is. I think the first thing we really need to do is stop comparing our game to anyone else's. Our country is prolly one of the smallest in Europe. If a comparison work to another country size wise, throw it in, but there will be other factors that will differ. I seriously want a structure that has relegation from/ Promotion to, the bottom football league division Would love a 14 team league, mainly because I love the split, Keeps thing interesting for a mid table team like us (usually) I would then like to see a divison of 16, then start the pyramid system, regionalised 3rd tier two leages of 10 then working it's way from there.
