  1. The amount of examples given for that are teams that rake in 40k people is fucking wild.
  2. I've sat down towards that end section for 20 odd years until recently. I've heard far more "f****n Bastards" type shouts than "Orange bastards" type shouts. I'm not really getting the friendly with celtic stuff. I mean I remember the throwing of tennis balls(I think) at the same time as them a good few years ago.
  3. Globalisation? Let's learn to walk before we start to run eh?
  4. I saw @Dee's social media posting. I saw he had murals and pics of both sides of the coin. Do you know what I thought of that? Nothing, I'm a grown up. FWIW politics is involved in everything we do. Football or otherwise.
  5. One of my mates said "if Blaney was right footed he'd be at a Championship team" and I agree with this weird left footed people HAVE to be in at LCB thing that's happened recently.
  6. The Squad is a joke. Kettlewell fucked it.
  7. I never made it along. Couldn't be fucked
  8. and everyone to say what battling spirit we have and how we'd have never done that under X(previous manager). Shows that players still believe in SK etc etc.
  9. I'm sick of Kettlewell. He's stubborn and not very good.
  10. Having a go for Europe? I'll take easily finishing 7th
  11. Feeley should not be chair. We cannot have the head of the Society a bloke who doesn't believe in the purpose of the society.
  12. McMahon is outgoing. Dickie has quit the WS so his place on the exec board should be removed and Feeley should be removed as chair if he doesn't believe in the WS. He's welcome to finish his term and stand for re-election.
  13. You won't get a figure of how much DD's have increased. These things are variable and it be mad to announce they are getting £7000 a month more or whatever
  14. I've not got mine yet. Moving shifts and sorting travel etc. get one the mora
  15. While I agree with you Steelboy's concerns are legit, maybe not his end of season projection there but I think you can build the team around Miller but expect better than Paton to be his out ball. I don't mind Paton but I have concerns that SK loves him and will squeeze him into the team every week if he can.
  16. I never saw any of Canada When they had their prelim squad I was surprised Theo made it. Up front is where Canada are best.
  17. What's this based on? Cos I think the issue is he doesn't have that much. I am sure he said as much somewhere.
  18. Feeley won't go anywhere. He's a stubborn wee man.
  19. This is it in a nutshell. Ignoring his proposal, did no one see his online/whatsapp interactions? The man is unhinged.
  20. A few we other snippets I had: Tom was also confident that with the "Motherwell men" on the board if the proposal went through there'd be no need for EB to have the deciding vote. Cos he felt the Motherwell men would prevent it. I pointed out it doesn't always work that way as an example, himself. Voted on the WS board to protect and maintain the Society, Only to vote against society's ownership. When I mentioned we'd probably make up the EB money if not surpass it with the sale of Bair and Miller he said, "we'll sell Bair, We're not selling Miller." Before going into the "what if" injury thing. Make of that what you will. Similarly when I asked "what happens to the society if this deal goes through?" Tom gave the ideal scenario where there is the same amount of members contributing and the Society have X amount of money for a back up. I pointed out that I don't think that would be the case as many members, myself included, would stop their contributions. He couldn't fathom this, I was trying to put a point across "why would anyone contribute to something that has moved the goal posts and no longer stands for it's original purpose?" but it was a busy part of the room and the questions were flying at him.
  21. I was there. It was a good event. All the WS board members were there. I felt the WS members who were against investment were spot on in any chat I had with any of them. Tom Feeley was there too and to be fair he showed up and fought his corner. I didn't really feel there was any answers to the questions I asked of Tom and his decision and anything I said was met with a "what if" *insert worst case scenario.*
