  1. The quality of the football on display is what makes our league a laughing stock. I seriously doubt that most fans of other leagues outwith the UK, or even outwith Scotland, actually know or care that we have a split.

I listened to Talk Sport around the split last season, they were pissing themselves. They thought that it made our league even more mickey mouse. No one who phoned in could explain exactly why we have the split.

  2. Considering the money floating about the EPL £1 Million is the least we should be looking at. Good move for the lad if it comes off, we've already seen how many feel he's outstayed his welcome so for his sake it's time to go and continue his development.

    Future Scotland captain?

    Absofuckinlutely !

  3. A bid of £1 million would be magic.

If Keeveins is to be believed (I know !), Mark is down at Wigan just now. A move to the EPL would be well deserved for Mark and a massive getitrightupye to some of those on here who have spent a fair amount of time slagging him.

I also suspect that if the move goes through he is a stick on for the Scotland squad on Friday, another getitrightupye to certain folk on here.

  4. what could craigan (or anyone) actually have done? it's not like he could go down and start throwing digs and i doubt a stern word would have made the odense defenders realise the error of their ways.

if it had turned into a 15 man battle royale then we'd have a thread about how that had put murphy off as well.

    In my opinion.

As Captain, he should have been at the centre of the incident, supporting if not protecting Murphy, not sitting on his arse at the other end of the pitch.

The 4 Odense players who were standing on the penalty spot were intimidating Murphy, he should have had the support of his much more experienced Captain.

  5. Easy decision to give a penalty to the IRA lovers (90 minutes of bile, will that be mentioned)?, and send off a diddy player.

According to Murdo Mcleod after the game on Radio Scotland, the Celtic support were magnificent from start to finish. No mention of them all joining the IRA every 2 minutes or the Ooh ahh up the Ra singathon.

Snivelling c**t that he is, I reckon Dunga must have caused som brain damage afterall.

  6. HAHAHA!

fuckin belter, only just seen this.

    what a lot of pish

    The first paragraph is fact.

The second is in my opinion the way things should be in those circumstances. The last sentence of the second paragraph is in my opinion what happened and what should have happened.

Exactly what part of it is a lot of pish.

Just so I know , oh wise one.

  7. This isn't about the penalty miss although I think Craigans actions or rather inaction may have had an effect on the result either way.

This is about the fact that while their players or at least 4 of them were crowded around , all standing on the penalty spot, intimidating Murphy. Our club captain, who is also a vastly experienced Captain of his country, was crouched down in our half well away from the situation in the area. As Captain I think he should have been in the area, getting into the faces of their players, intimidating them, protecting and backing up Murphy. Immaterial of the end result.

At the latter stages of the game they were literally fighting tooth and nail, kicking, harrassing and generally thowing their collective weight around. We should have been standing our ground and Craigan should have been at the front.

    or mibey its just me.

  8. Your a fanny, aye we're a team but to blame Crags for Murphy missing a penalty is obtuse. European football for us is a bonus, had we made the group stages and been put out you'd probably have been back on spouting more dribble. Fuck off tae Ibrox if you want to see more european football.

Are you really that thick ?

I am not blaming Murphy for anything.

I am not even blaming Craigan for Murphy missing the penalty.

As for the rest of your post, utter shite.

And from your posts its you who looks like the fanny.

  9. Fuck off Well del, he's big and ugly enough tae look after himself without someone fighting his battles! We got beat because over the 2 legs they got the brakes and took their chances well, we didn't so stop talking pish and get behind the team for the rest of the season!

    :notworthy:

Who are you telling to fuck off. No need for that .

We win and lose as a team, we stand and fight as a team. they were mob handed in the area , Murphy was alone.

  10. If my memory serves Craigan was taking part in the spat at the dugouts. It was all kicking off in various places at the one time and as already pointed out, did it really make a difference to Murphy? The main thing for me was the delay in the penalty being taken, and in all fairness Craigan could have sat on Murphy's shoulders telling them all to beat it, and it wouldn't have mind a blind bit of difference to the delay in proceedings.

You are probably correct, It wouldn't have made any difference to the delay, however it would have made Murphy look and I suspect feel that he wasn't on the wrong side of a very lopsided gang fight. Craigan may well have been invloved in th espat at the dugouts, he should however have been invloved in th espat/intimidation/bullying in th epenalty area, in those circumstances that is his job.

  11. No blame game mate. Everyone of the players played their part in a match that should and could have had a very different ending.

I was very dissapointed at the penalty when Murphy was trying to put the ball on the spot and 4 of their players were allowed to stand on spot, preventing him doing so. Our Captian should have been in there at the heart of it, standing up for his players not sitting alone at the other end of the pitch.

  12. I waited until this morning to post, because I would probably have gone to far. However when it all kicked off at the penalty and the referee was dealing with the sending off, 4 of their players were camped on the penalty spot preventing the penalty from being taken and intimidating Murphy. Craigan was basically sitting in our half of the park miles away from the incident.

He should have been in the penalty area protecting Murphy and telling their players to get to fuck. When it all kicks off likethat, how a team reacts speaks volumes for the team spirit and attitude. Basically if the other team want a square go you give them on as a Team. They intimidated Murphy into missing the penalty and his team mates, especially his Captain let them.

  13. Hope is knowing that football fans, like the scarves we wear, are made to be lifted up. Because our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Confucious said that ye know, or was it Stephen Craigan?

Like Fir Parks fearsome roar, hope arouses a passion for the possible. It helps us achieve the unthinkable - Motherwell 4 Dundee Utd 3.

We can live 40 days without food, 3 days without water and 8 minutes without air. We can spend 4 days in Nancy without changing our replica shirts but we cannot live for 1 second without hope.

Hope is not caring if we win with a sclaffed goal from 2 yards off of the referees arse.

Hope is calculating that the £2m prize fund for reaching the group stages would mean we could offer Steve Jennings a 5 year deal on increased wages, hope is booking the holidays off work for the next games "just incase".

Most of all, hope is like a path in the country - there never was a path, but when many of us walk the same ground, the path comes into existence. This is the path we follow - wherever it takes us, whatever it takes.

Into this Danish shite Motherwell, I believe!

Fuck me mate, I was quite calm until I read that. Posts like that should come with a warning for those about to read them. Not good for the high blood pressure.

    Getfuckedinabouthedanishbastards. Monthefuckingwell.

    :):thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

  14. Iam unaware of any complaints being made about our support throwing anything at anyone.

It's immaterial whether Uefa's action effect the outcome of the game , obviously they wont, the point I was tryin g to make is that on our travels we are not used to this kind of incident and we certainly haven't been accused of treating visiting opposition in this way.

  15. According to the Daily Record a section of the home fans were throwing lighters and coins at Randolph.

After our eperiences in Nancy, Lanelli etc this is a bit of a culture shock to have European opponents who were less than welcoming (atleast during the match).

Uefa could and should hammer the Danes.

  16. A bit of a ball booting for the Welchers, seems to me that they may have overstepped the mark with their Leagur officials having had a transfer embargo lifted after having supposedly paid all of their outstanding debt.

Should they not face further sanctions/embargo ?
