Just back from training, there were 2 new trialists, the first an English guy who's first name is Terry. From the training drills he seemed to to a central defender/midfielder although it was hard to tell because the drills they were doing involved each player basically playing all over the pitch.
The other trialist was a very tall left winger, looked North African, seemed to be french speaking, his name is Salim.
Both looked the part, the winger looked a bit special though and his finishing was very good.
I reckon Esteban thingmy has gone home.
There was no sign of either John Sutton or Tom Hately.

whats the craic wi the u-19 team now? weve promoted 6 of them,released 8 or 9 and are now left with a squad of 4 or 5 players. Are we trying to save money by merging the u-17S + 19s? or are we bringing in 10 - 15 new u-19 players?
Nothing to worry about I watched the 19's play Wigan 19's at Dalziel a couple of weeks ago. We demolished them 5-0. Even with several moving to the first team and several leaving the future looks bright.
I also watched them being beaten by Shotts Bon accord 2-1, however again they played well at times and look a good team.

For the first time that I can remember in 30 ish years of watching Motherwell, I left early last night, as soon as they scored their 6th.
I am gutted that I missed the comeback albeit I watched the end of the game in the house.
I am really chuffed that we salvaged a draw and especially in such spectacular fashion.
Juke's goal was special and but for the penalty save we might actually have won the game.
However our defending was deplorable, the players attitude at least until I left was all wrong and some of the mistakes we made were incredible.
We should have gone out there last night and fought for every ball, been first to everything and killed off what is a very poor Hibs side.
The players looked like they were already on holiday and with what was at stake that is unbelievable.
If the fact that I left early makes me less of a supporter in others eyes, I couldn't care less.

i'm suprised to see so many fingering pointing threads on here tonight.
especially so many ones beginning at quarter to ten. there are teams in the blue square that can take more than 150 to a local game. once again our support was a joke, everyone can laugh at celtic's support but they had 1/4 of their usual home support, we had 1/6 of the support at tannadice and 1/3 of our last trip to the paedodome. what does that say about the well support?
our support is a joke. we want european football but we've got non league fans.
3,000 in nancy. 2,000 in llanelli. 150 max 14 mile down the road.
I will not give that scum or their bigot brothers my hard earned and I willnot be subjected to or subject my kids to their moronic, stewards, fans or songs.
Let alone the fact that having paid for 3 season tickets including 1 game against them which we will not now get. I will not waste any more of my money.

Andy Wilson is a good bloke.
He will bring some good knowledge and experince to the club and he is a diehard Well fan into the bargain.
The outlook looks very positive for the club overall.

Well soem of the stairs in the stands need painted again, infact the stands could do with a lick of paint in general and the seats in the Cooper are bogging. Their are leaks in the roof and the walkway type bit in fron of the seats needs a wash.
Apart from that it's all good.

My Son bought an away strip earlier this month out of his birthday money. Nobody mentioned to either of us that within 3 weeks he could have got 2 strips for his money or even that the strips were being replaced next year. He bought the away strip thinking that it would still be used next season.
I seem to have been moaning about the availability or quality or longevity of our strips on here for years. It seems that every year their is another issue with our kits.

To be honest this will have been a good season no matter the score today United are a good side and our run had to come to an end sometime.
