Reid has had to play all over the place this season filling in gaps at left back, centre half, midfield. He might not be the best player in the world but he usually puts the effort in and I think he's as good a utility squad player as we are likely to find. Does he make it into a full strength team? Maybe not but I think he is useful to have around.
-
Do you think I could make it to the top in 6 years cos then I'm over the age limit?
-
Two week build up to this match?
-
Or maybe it's a condescending and cliquey boys club of upper middle class professionals that's completely self serving and not interested in open engagement with the wider football community. I need to work 9-5 for three weeks to earn what Willie Collum did yesterday afternoon. With that in mind, I doubt very much if nobody wants to be a ref.

Having seen the highlights I don't have any problems with the red card. Don't think Laing brought him down deliberately but at the end of the day the attacking player should have the advantage and whether it was accidental or not, if an attacker is clean through and brought down that's a red card for me. If it had happened up the other end don't think there would have been much debate among Motherwell supporters! On a separate issue I see John Sutton is now only 3 goals away from beating Stevie Kirk's 63 Premier League goals total. A hat trick up at Ross County would be a good way to do it!

Dom Thomas has something money can't buy. Real belief in himself. Too many of our players are looking to the guy next to him to get their confidence up. Thomas just goes on there and does it even when his team mates aren't the best. Having a player who when he gets the ball just want to go forward is huge for us. He just creates a sense of forward momentum when he comes on and that's why every time he's come on he's changed the way the game was going.

Dom Thomas has turned every match I've seen him come on as a sub. Great attitude and looks like he has real potential. I think this is the third straight match I've given him my vote and he's not even started one. Erwin's work rate and attitude was good today but I am starting to worry about his technical ability.
-
He's a terrible referee regardless of whether he got the red card today right. The reason the crowd are getting on to him is because they sense a weak and under pressure referee that's highly prone to mistakes.
-
I thought Kerr quite well today but there was still a couple of tackles that he put in that I just don't think you can make in modern football. Lucky for him we had a complete haddie in charge. Straker certainly didn't look like someone who's natural instinct is to get forward.

Think St. Johnstone will be sitting in the dressing room right now kicking themselves. Was a game they should have won comfortably but they were happy to stay in a low gear at 1-0. First half we were dire and they team were deservedly booed off. Second half wasn't much better until around the 60 minute mark when it became apparent St. Johnstone had downed tools and we got a bit of encouragement from the substitutions and slackness from the visitors. To be fair to the team it was mediocre from back to front but we actually battled for 20 minutes or so and we got some reward off of it. Sutton took the goal really well after good build up from Dom Thomas, who looks different class in terms of attitude and ability. If only we had showed that attitude from the beginning of matches we might be further up the league. All things considered a good point considering the side we had out today, going 1-0 down early and then losing a man in the first 25 minutes. As for the red card, I literally turned my head to speak to someone just when it happened so I can't comment on the sending off but according to the wean it was a red card, although most of the East Stand seemed to disagree!

To be fair to Barraclough he didn't have many options for central midfield today - no Lawson, Vigurs, Lasley, Pearson, Leitch, Ojamaa. Long ball might be our best bet today, get Sutton and Erwin up there.
-
Could line up a lot of different ways but I'll go with this Twardzik Reid - Laing, O'Brien - Watt Law - Ramsden, Carswell - Straker Erwin, Sutton
-
Mine is Martyn Corrigan decking Derek Adams in the dressing room.
-
Without Pearson we are basically fucked. No Lawson, Vigurs, Lasley, Pearson or Ojamaa in midfield? This Straker boy better have shoulders like Atlas to carry the rest of them!
-
The difference in tactics could be knight and day.
-
Don't we have enough to worry about with a question like this being put out there!
-
Baraclough strongly suggesting that there will be more coming in, in the press conference.
-
Laing said he plays right centre back and that's where O'Brien has been playing. Will be interesting to see how we line up tomorrow.

Last time I looked it was to stay cold but no more snow.

I'm of the opinion that our situation is not Baraclough's fault, he inherited it and I think we should support him but we have lost 5 matches on the trot and have looked as bad, if not worse, than ever, so what if this current run continues and becomes, say, 10 losses on the trot and yet somehow we still have a chance of escaping relegation? At that point do you back or ditch Baraclough? Like I said I'm in favour of supporting Baraclough but that could change pretty quickly depending on results and performances. What we need to do is to start picking up points soon because at the end of the day our loyalty should always be to the club and not to a manager and 10 defeats on the trot swould surely see any manager fired. Our current run is putting Baraclough in a dangerous position, 5 losses in a row at present, and I think it's kind of an interesting (but hopefully hypothetical) question, when do people turn? 6 defeats in a row? 7 defeats? 8 defeats? 9 defeats? Do we stick with him no matter what? Those sort of numbers are just a few games away now. Hopefully we get something against St. Johnstone.
-
Seems pretty obvious he had no future at Legia and needed to move on. We made an offer (as I understand) but another club made a better one and he's gone for the better Scandinavian offer and a new challenge.
-
As I said on P&B I'd bite your hand off for a point from this game. Will the game be on though? If not it will be another 3 weeks before a home match is played and as shite as this season has been waiting 7 weeks for a home match is a bit off.
-
If that's the case one will drop out the team by the end of the season and be away and the other won't get a regular first team place until 2017.
-
Most wide players have good and bad days especially wide players at our level. You just need to hope we get someone who clicks with the team and we get more good days out of him than bad days. Like Ainsworth last season. But I think it will be a huge boost just to get a couple of new faces in the dressing room. You'd like to think it will have a positive effect on everyone.

Says on Wiki that's he's primarily a left winger. A left winger! Good God!
