  1. Why does this delay proceedings for Rangers though? The proposals can only be viewed as a positive. Said elsewhere but the timing of this news is very convenient, given that a preferred bidder should have been announced today.
  2. Where have these proposals stemmed from? It appears that the proposals have been cobbled together to protect Rangers in the event that a Newco emerges. I hope that certain chairman come out in the next few days and distance themselves from this shambles.
  3. Hope Weir/Dempster arrange some sort of meeting with fans in relation to April 30th.
  4. Favourite strip for a number of years in terms of quality and design.
  5. Higdon's not the best at attacking a cross. Humphrey's delivery could obviously be better but there was a reasonable number of decent crosses on Sunday. The lack of anyone playing on the left hand side also meant we had nobody to attack the crosses from both Humphrey and Hateley. There was scope to score a similar goal to Murphy's previous effort at Easter Road.
  6. There aren't many criticisms you can level at Randolph but he has lost a few from distance. Today, I thought Clancy got in his way running across his line of vision. Interesting that we adopted the same tactic with O'Connor's free kick at the death.
  7. Good performances from Law and Humphrey. Law kept plucking away trying to create while Humphrey once again, provided our sole attacking outlet. Page also put in a very steady performance against two good strikers. Motm without doubt though has to be Hutchison. Excellent performance, commanding throughout.
  8. We more than deserved a point without playing partuculary well. Fantastic strike from Nicky Law, think that will prove to be an important goal. Feel sorry for Page who certainly didn't look out of place. Hutchison was excellent.
  9. Horrible performance from both strikers, severely lacking sharpness.
  10. Lasley running across the goal couldn't have helped Randolph.
  11. Very good day for us. Win tomorrow and we are just about there.
  12. Was that not the 3-2 game under Eric black? I recall him playing left back against Rangers, I thought that was his debut.
  13. My two favourite Faddy goals for Motherwell. That performance came during a spell when him and Elliott were dynamite together. By that time there was little doubt that he was destined for the top. Then that goal at Hampden, without doubt one of my favourite moments supporting Morherwell, the celebrations were mental. We played Rangers off the park for most of that first half and his goal was magical. If Clarky hadn't fucked up it would probably have been one of the finest days in our history. His final goal against Thistle wasn't too shabby either. I miss Faddy.
  14. No point looking any further forward than the weekend. Beat Hibs and we will be hard to catch. Lose with Celtic to follow in a fortnight, then United would be sniffing blood.
  15. We could end up clinching our Champions League spot at Ibrox, that would be sweet.
  16. Clancy reminds me a wee bit bit of Brian McLean. He definitely has the attributes to be a good solid defender at our level. If he can keep his lapses in concentration to a minimium and curb his enthusiasm to get tore in about Old Firm players, we have a very capable centre half at our disposal. Him and Hutchison are a very decent partnership. He'll score for us on Sunday.
  17. Frustrates the life out of me but does recover from dips in form, even during the course of a game. No option but to play him next week with Jennings missing.
  18. Had a fair chunk of my Rangers winnings on Hibs. Fucking yaldi, didnt see that coming after 60 mins.
  19. We have beaten hibs twice this season. Get Murphy back in the starting lineup, tends to do the business against Hibs. Fuck knows who will end up at left back.
  20. Must win to get some confidence back. Going to be difficult without two key players though.
  21. Given his experience, I really thought McCall would have us up for these games against the Old Firm. His approach to such games have been a disappointing aspect of his management. Heard Craigan saying pre-match that McCall didn't have much to say this week as these games take care of themselves. Our record would suggest otherwise. Given what's at stake, we should have been bursting with belief today.
