  1. IIRC, we all had juvenile tickets last time round and just stormed in on mass. I may be completely wrong though. Vague memories.
  2. As I started my journey to Paris, I'll always remember a Scotrail twat at Motherwell station slagging us for going to watch us getting humped by the French. From that moment on, I had a daft feeling that something special might happen. Would loved to have met that c**t on the way back.
  3. We need to get McGhee back Melvin so you have something to get your teeth into. I've not been far off your position in recent months but the Cup(s) have kept me going. If you were to seas busloads of 'Well fans departing the town on Sunday, would that no tug at your heart a wee bit?
  4. Cadamatari is pish for fuck sake.
  5. Was hoping for a rumour or two today to give us a boost ahead of Sunday.
  6. The staff at FP are far from lazy but there has been something missing from the ticket sales 'drive'. Opportunities to see Motherwell are special occassion which are few and far between. For whatever reason however, the sense of anticipation hasn't materialised for most folks this time round. As long as the players are fired up for it, that'll do me.
  7. We lack some genuine quality and pace. Unless McCall gets the opportunity to bring in a couple of quality players we will struggle away from home more often than not. Hopefully we can rise to the occassion on Sunday.
  8. Wouldn't touch Stewart with a barge pole, he'd ruin any spirit in the dressing room.
  9. Hibs lining up Stevie Thompson after missing out on Adam Rooney. Thought he might have been on Motherwell's radar.
  10. Unless the deal is all but done and dusted, I imagine Motherwell won't be best pleased about this being linked to the media. Rotherham may be looking to offload him for a few quid this month.
  11. Could really do with the club trying to build some momentum and start pushing ticket sales. Excitement is starting to kick in for me.
  12. Fingers and toes crossed that his injury woes are behind him. Big test for him at Hampden next week. I've really liked the look of him since Gannon arrived but don't want to get carried away.
  13. Absolute fucking shambles of a fucking football club...
  14. Stephen Hughes was a class apart. Sure his form dipped in his 2nd season and he went missing in games but there aren't many creative players in Scotland where you get high levels of consistency. I'd take him back in an instant. With Jennings doing all the donkey work he would be dynamite. It's been a while since we have had a midfielder that can play with his head up. Murphy & Humphrey would reap the rewards of his invention. Long shot though...
  15. Loan deals scunner me but there isn't much else kicking about this time of year. Just hope McCall has the scope to bring in 1 or 2 quality pre-contracts in the summer. Listening to him on the radio tonight, it worries me a bit that he doesn't see the right back slot as an issue.
  16. Always fancied Healy at Fir Park after hearing the NI fans belt it out at Hampden. Supposedly playing for Sunderland reserves at Gateshead tonight. A loan move to the SPL, may well not be out the question.
  17. Really good player for Motherwell, like they way he goes about his game but FFS if Rangers are genuinely interested in him, there's another nail in the coffin of Scottish fitba.
  18. Got a text to say Craigan was doing his token stint on Talksport there, saying that the players are fed up with the league. So why the fuck are fans going to bother? I'm in the same boat as Juan, Cups and Scotland for me.
  19. Stevie Thompson been mentioned? While talking of Burnley players, if Kevin McDonald were to be available for loan again he would surely be worth a shout.
  20. Fans of all clubs need to come together and boycott a full weekend of SPL football. It's the only way we can try and stop this pish going ahead.
  21. That's fine if that's the case. I was in by no means having a dig at her. I was more concerned that her duties had diminished somewhat as she hadn't been in the public eye for a while.
  22. Where has Leeann Dempster been in recent months? Until the arrival of Derek Weir she appeared to be at the forefront of everything the club was doing. She communicated well with the fans, set out our intentions with regards to tieing up the futures of our young prospects and was at the centre of every transfer/contract negotiation. From the outside, she doesn't appear to have such influence at the moment. It is becoming easier to understand why Broon jumped ship.
  23. TV has surely been the biggest killer of all with the aforementioned two not too far behind.
