The deep McDonald role reminds me of the bizarre Craig Moore experiment back in the early days of Baraclough and Robinson. Robinson was an uninspired appointment by McMahon and Burrows at the time and it's inevitably came back to haunt us. The rebuild must start at the very top. Horrendous decisions over the last 3-4 years from 'Motherwell men' determined to achieve fan ownership have put the future viability of the club at severe risk. I doubt the South American consortium could have done a worse job than Hutchison, McCafferty, McMahon, Burrows, Dickie & co.

You've echoed my thoughts word for word. We've had ample opportunity to get out of trouble by beating mediocre opposition but we've failed time after time. The lack of quality and leadership on and off the park has finally caught up with us. Appointing an inexperienced manager sacked by Oldham looks to have been the final straw.

Looks like Robinson is in tune with the majority of fans.
