Sounds like he made an early mistake or two, but he was doing well and made some good saves IIRC.
Aye, let a shot squirm free and got it at the second attempt. Other than that It sounds like he had a solid game.

He wouldn't be playing at right back if he wasn't capable. His dad spoke him up as a prospect for England at right back. He wouldn't be doing that if his son wasn't happy to play there.
This is just an example of course.
As good as anyone thinks they are in one position, the coaches will always know what's better for the team.

I think you will find he already has a much better reputation already than Fraser. In fact I'd gladly drop our current keeper for Alan Combe.

Having him or Hateley in the middle with Jennings is our best bet.

My brother used to be a goalkeeper and was coached by professional coaches so i have a pretty good knowledge of whats required for a good goalie and Fraser isnt that for me, In my opinion you do want Fraser to be first choice because of how your defending him, The opinion i get here is you dont want to accept the fact Ruddy is better the reason for it is he has better quality coaching at Everton and is much taller and does catch the majority of crosses into the box, Fraser doesnt thats what im saying, i would say its quite accurate.
Ruddy has spent very little time at Everton.

Wellfan, theres no point. The point of this thread was that Fraser is shite, all we've did is said the opposite. It's the people slating the guy who can't take that we're only saying he's not shite.
Ruddy has made plenty errors this season. It has been pointed out that he has recovered many of them but how many people after the first game of the season thought that Ruddy would be the best 'keeper in the SPL this season?
He cost us a win and if Deuchar had any composure we'd have been beaten.

If Fraser hadnt shat himself from coming off his line to punch or catch the cross for the second goal then we wouldnt have lost the game so i think people have every right to criticise him for that as we know if Ruddy had been goals we wouldnt have lost that game or even the Dundee utd game.
We don't. know that. We only lost 3-2 against United with Fraser in goal. Mind the other week, when they pumped us? Ruddy was in goal that time, Ken?

The Caley fans i've heard from say its more like 2 seasons. To be fair, they probably know slightly better than a guy watching two Caley games a season and proclaiming him 'the man who could of kept them in the premier league'. Thats just daft young Frazer..

And since last season Fraser only played 17 games for ICT, being dropped because of the pre-contract, and before that ICT were doing fine sitting around 8th place before sliding down the table.

Afraid not, hoping he may do the honourable thing and fall on his blade (or sign for a 2nd Division team).
Seems we have been spoiled with Ruddy this season who definitely raised the benchmark, as a result his understudy has large boots to fill and unfortunately Fraser has been found sadly lacking in almost everything I consider a keeper should be doing.
A lot of professional football players would tend to improve when they move to a bigger club and have better talent around them challenging for a starting place. This guy has no doubt worked all season alongside Ruddy, the Polish guy and the coach and it appears no improvement or increase in composure.
Aye, cos being injured for a majority of the season has nothing to do with it.

Just wondering if psycho1991, decorator and mon da well still think this is the way forward after Sunday's uselessness between the sticks?
Is it true he's one of the highest paid at FP? If he is I think he should Wikipedia the Japanese Bushido code and do the honourable thing, I'm sure he'd find lots of tacky samurai blades sitting on many Forgie mantelpieces.
I dunno what the code is, but if its to go about 'whacking' all of those trying to lynch him then I'm all for it.
