  1. All - Trust Board are meeting tonight and The Dossier assures me something will be going to the press tomorrow from the Trust.
  2. I don't resent either of them. I have no respect for O'Brien as I see no reason, other than bigoted roots, that he mouth's off in the press about wanting to play for Ireland. He's never in a million years gonna get an international cap so why he chooses to bring this up I will never know. This lack of respect is extended to Aiden McGeady, James McCarthy and even Brian McClean. Why anyone would resent Sheridan is beyond me also. The boy is born and bread Irish so anyone who resents him would be doing so for bigoted reasons.
  3. Oh and can anyone confirm if my above point is maybe correct. Did anyone who went up NOT get their ticket stub ripped off?
  4. Aye Brazilian your spot on with the assesment that folk will just jump on the bandwaggon to have a pop at the club on here. Messageboarditis! Only good thing is it raises awareness when it's discussed on here for the club to take it up with the SFA for solutions for us - the long suffering fans! Mind you, I wasn't out of pocket - was sitting nice and cozy in my hotel watching the official web-site minute by minute - fun times!
  5. Brazilian - game was called off 4 times and the worst snow for 16 years was forecast. I don't think it is reasonable to say people are daft for not asking for a refund in advance. Small communication issue on behalf of our club? Yes. MAJOR let down from the SFA for not stepping in to look after us fans.
  6. Motherwell tried to return tickets the DAY after the 1st postponment - notice enough? MFC's fault? No - It's the SFA's. They should take a percentage of each gate pool to cover for this eventuallity. Football is a nothing without fans. I doubt many of those out of pocket will pay for a 4th round away again at this time of the year? As for the baloon. That will fund itself with an increased attendance on a saturday home vie as opposed to a midweek game in the next round. A risk worth taking by the club to get the game on. Probably not enough to allow them to have the cash to pay the out-of-pocket fans. Worth considering this - did the Loco's take the stubs off everyones ticket? I have lost count of the amount of times at an all ticket game I've no had ma stub taken off ma ticket!
  7. Any chance of some of yer millions pal? If you've got enough money that you dinny miss £15 and the related salary for the various days off work we have had tae take then spread the wealth... cock!

I don't wholey agree with that statement. The Trust should act in the best interest of the fans of the club. This may differ from the Clubs stance on official matters. As an example "No Means No" was probably not in the interest of the club financially, but was something that many fans thought was in their own interest.

Bloody hell, how this thread got into 4 pages in a day I will never know. I would ask anyone reading this to consider the following points... 1. Frazzle is just one member of the Trust board. His viewpoint on here not the view of the Trust Board overall unless explicitly stated. I'm pretty sure there are 11 members of the board, including myself, AndyRoss, The Dossier and BK. Not everyone agrees with Frazzles viewpoint on this. 2. It has been identified by The Dossier on the email listing today that there had been confusion with our treasurer, hence the reason for the non payment of an agreed sum. However I understand that discussions did take place with regards to Terms & Conditions of the payment of the £200 this year. 3. The Trust has a problem of falling membership, no secrets, no smokescreens. The Trust board are commited to taking steps to reverse this trend and attract people to join. Whilst some people will accuse Frazzle of his stance because of his FPC job, I really believe his position on this matter is more down to the fact that the Trust Board have to consider carefully how every penny is spent so that the membership GROWS this year, not falls backward. My personal point of view is that funding WTFC from Trust coffers is not benefitial toward this goal. If we had a couple of people from the team sign up to the Trust then it would be benefitial and I would definetly be strongly in favour of financial support. Put simply, it's a numbers game. The club (MFC) will take less notice of the Trust with it's current membership than it did back at the start. As fatcalf mentioned but, there would be no way WTFC could demand their players sign up for the Trust so our two organisations need to work out a way we can help each other with our problems. 4. I wasn't in the Trust Board when the 2nd request for a donation came from JP. What I would say is that from a personal point of view, if it was a choice between Youth Development or helping JP out - it would be Youth Development every day of the week. My view is formed not because of a return to the Trust, but more from a return to the Club. I would rather the Trust spent money helping the club find the new James McFadden or Phil O'Donnell than helping JP do essentially what he is paid for. Also, from talking to other members of the Trust board, the donation request was not turned down because of anything to do with Logo's or Publicity, it was knocked back because it would have taken away at least 1/4 of the money the Trust has in it's account. It was suggested that the Trust could partially fund the equipment. From the above I think it's clear that discussions need to take place between WTFC reps and MST reps so we can sort out this sorry mess. What I would say is that whilst some of Frazzle's comments have been wide of the mark, some of the abuse leveled back has been a mile out of order. If we are talking about working together then personal abuse gets you knowhere.

I wouldnt say there was an agreement. From what I remember 'Flow and fatcalf said they would encourage their members to join - not "you must join the trust". Unfortunately no one did. I'm pretty sure if some did join up then this thread wouldnt be here and support would be ongoin.
  11. At home, were we not 3 nil up against Dundee United at half time last season? Away? Trying hard but nothings coming to mind
  12. Tend to stay more sober for Motherwell games than for Scotland games. However a few highlights include... Killie away - sure it was the cup - The sperm got the jail for falling about blootered in the toilet. I had a cracking night in the pub below the stand waiting for him tae get out. Clyde away in the cup (year we got to the semi's) - burst ma hand open banging the back wall, trying to start chants about players that wurney even on the park! Stranraer away in the cup (the same year!) - Jamjar spewing on my feet was plesant. Canny mind the 1st half but remember basically walking onto the park at half time. Rangers at Hampden in the cup - How I didny get the clink that day is beyond me! CIS Cup Final - Was alright before I got to the game, but managed to sneek in a cheeky half bottle of voddy - Melted before the game finished! Hearts away 1st game of the season was a bit funky - buying shots every second round before the game then ending up trying tae get into Laser Quest with bottles of Blue Charge after.
