the sfa made an arse of handing out the embargo to rangers because they didn't account for the window shutting on the monday. Because of that every club gets shafted.

No, the SFA made an arse of the embargo as they didn't account for them convincing players to 'not sign' for clubs this summer thus making them deliberate free agents.

I see they have sold one of their better players for £8m. We sold one of our better players for £300,000. A slight gulf in quality methinks.

I doubt it will make a big difference, but you never know.

Flow told me they had earmarked the guy they just sold as Kubans best player. So I'd say that's a great boost. In terms of fees etc, well we beat a team last season (twice & should have been thrice) that sold players for £12m & £5m this summer. Make of that what you will.

  3. Hats off. A fantastic addition & I really can't wait for the season to get underway. Defence, certainly stronger than last season. Midfield, probably no better than last year but not worse. Attack, currently lacking a pacey winger to join up midfield & attack.

If we can fill that void, who's for a title challenge? (Tin hat at the ready)

you've pulled out two trialists from the last ten years. How many bodies have we had in that time that didn't work out?

We should obviously always be on the lookout for gems to compliment the squad but when we're needing guys to put a starting lineup on the field there should be a bit more planning going on. What if all the trialists turn out to be pish which is what usually happens?

I think we are paying the price for mccall's daliance with sheff utd followed by the scotland trip followed by his holiday.

Bit of advice pal. Don't smoke grass at the same time as taking swedgers.

  5. Ok, I've never met our wee pal, but for anyone that's connected to him, lets get some confirmation or quash the following urban legends...Dougie Imrie shits himself?Dougie Imrie canny tie his shoelaces?Dougie Imrie lives in a hedge?

  6. At least politicians kid on they care about what their votes want, consult with them, then act out their own agenda based on self-interest. Our glorious leaders haven't quite grasped that concept yet & seem to think its ok to do it in the reverse order.

  7. Hand up who's never made a mistake in life?

We all make mistakes. Someone clearly made a mistake when they set-up the society rules.

See if the Society & Club turned round and said "by the way, we ballsed it up", I'm pretty sure most members & fans would have been cool with it.

Instead, the Club & Society have both tried to hoodwink us with their recent communications on this "share purchase".

    I smell shite...

  8. Ahh, must have missed that. Not surprised in a way if he was out of contract, but would have thought he might have been worth keeping on till after pre-season to see how he performed after getting a decent preparation.

you only saw part of it.

it started because i was shouting at faddy and the guy grabbed me three times. that eventually calmed down.

after faddy scored - you were celebrating - the same guy tried to punch me two or three times. that understanably pissed off the people with me and i was the one who stopped them.

if they really tried to get a hold of they guy who tried to punch me they would have went through you as well. you're not exactly hulk hogan.

I've not been on this forum for about a year as in general, the patter here has descended to the point it's usually cringeworthy. Negative tripe that is usually spouted by idiots with what I can only assume is a terribly sad life. I had to break myself-imposed ban when I heard this was getting talked about. To be honest, I'm delighted I did as this is one of the funniest things I've seen in a longtime.

The chap who 'tried to punch you'? Well pal that was me. As several other posters have already correctly pointed out, I made no attempt whatsoever to punch you. It was a simple & straightforward 'Get it right up ye', just like Michael Hidgon done last year at Dundee United (he probably directed that at you too). If you genuinely believe that was an attempted punch, your not right in the head. Trust me when I say, if I wanted to punch you, I would have made damn sure I landed one right on your puss.

McFadden tries his heart out every game, and values the support we give him as a group of supporters. I think everyone with eyes and a functioning brain could see that in his celebration after the equaliser?

All for freedom of speech, but you and your chums yesterday were a Mile-Oot with your abuse of the players, in particular McFadden. I hope McFadden does fuck off and gets himself a club with supporters who value his effort & contribution. Sadly, "supporters" like yourself don't deserve such talents to watch on a weekly basis.

The notion that the players were not trying is ridiculous. Similarly, the notion that they should try even harder than they normally do, because we had travelled hundreds of miles? That too is ridiculous. They put the effort in week-after-week and never give up. 2nd in the table says it all really eh?

I owe you no apology. Indeed, the only person in need of an apology is my wife, who got caught up in the whole sorry mess.

I owe thanks to some of our great supporters who stepped in to comfort the wife whilst I got wound up by you and your cronies.

Don't worry; I'll be making sure I don't sit anywhere near you at future games. I don't think I could cope with another second of your pish; let alone 90mins of it.
