  1. Wasn't at the game tonight. Gutted at losing Was talking to my brother in law and he wis saying we played quite well but just couldn't take our chances. Does that sum tonights game up?
  2. Can't believe McLean and Smiths knocked us back and went to Falkirk and Brighton. Fair enough if they go to the championship or a team in the top half of the SPL, a team that has at least decent ambitions to achieve. Leaving us to go and join those teams is ridiculous.
  3. So gutted am missin tomorrow nights games A win is all I want because I certainly dont think we'll lose down in Wales. Fuck it, 4-0.
  4. Exactly mate, I said to a few people last season that Foran wouldve been worth the punt simply because of goals. He doesnt just score penalties he could find the net from anywhere. He could be lazy but did put in a shift at the best of times. It was a chance wasted and more fans wouldve welcomed him back than the ones who wouldve rejected him.
  5. Foran could turn up still half pissed on a Saturday and could still be better than McGarry. McGarry peaked in McGhees first season and last season was a complete waste for him. Plus he doesnt weigh in with anywhere the amount of goals Foran scored.
  6. Good luck Clarky. Through all the bad times you've still come through and become a much loved and admired person and footballer. Thank you for the memories. Watching you at the end of the Scottish Cup game against Hearts at Tynecastle will live long in the mind for not just me but for everybody that was there that day. Go and make Phil proud
  7. Exact same. Get down there for 2 or 3 then onto the fanzone then the march to the ground. Going to be amazing
  8. I just think when your paying 40 quid for a football strip I think you should be able to expect a wee bit of quality but that doesn't seem to be the case with this one.
  9. Your right about him being a very good SPL player but does he really have what it takes to be a very good Championship player? Hope he does just as well if not better than McCormack but I just cant't see it.
  10. If I had had it for a few months and it started to happen then I wouldn't be as bothered but its been only a week so its frustrating to say the least.
  11. Ave washed it a couple of times from last Saturday mate. Wore it today and noticed the J and 1st X along with one of the squares were peeling.
  12. Its in the news of the world mate. Pretty poor move for him.
  13. Was just wondering if anyone is having any problems with their new home top. The JAXX part is starting to peel away on mines. Has anybody else had that problem?
  14. Would be a good appointment, seems to be held in very high regard. Also says Hughes might stay which would also give the club a major boost.
  15. Gutted to see him go but not grudging him it. He deserves all the good things coming to him. Wasn't his biggest fan for a couple of years but he shoved it right back in my face by contributing a massive amount to the team and club as a whole and I couldn't have been happier. Hopefully goes with all the best wishes of the fans. Bristol City's just a stepping stone to greater things. Well done Clarky you deserve it
  16. Thats where I am. That place is going to be rockin
  17. I agree with you, I do think £800k is good business with his contract running out next year. But if Clarkson had 2 or 3 years to go on his contract do you think we receive £2m-£3m for him? I dont think we'd get near that figure.
  18. Just seen it on sky sports news that £800k deals been agreed. Don't see how teams like Hibs will get £3m for Fletcher when we're only getting that for Clarkson. The Llanelli game is looking trickier as the days go by.
  19. Cant make first leg but goin to Wales ticket or no ticket!!!
  20. Collins got snubbed for the job so could maybe be on the radar. I don't know but I'd maybe take a punt on Calderwood, a new challenge for him but also worth a shout would be Gary McAllister. Former Well player, would maybe see abit of unfinished business.
  21. Fair enough, I see your point but it just irks me that alot of people only judged him on his off field behaviour(years ago) to what he done on the park. "Fans" in the East Stand booed him when he came on against Kilmarnock on the last day of the season, slate the guy if hes been shite for most of the game or wotever but giving the guy dogs abuse before hes even touched the ball is pretty poor. I hope he finds a set of supporters who don't judge him on his past.
  22. Do you think the people who thought Bob Malcolm was mince and a lazy bastard sat on their arses when he scored for us? Free kicks against Hibs and ICT and a winner against St Mirren. I don't think so, so to those people who did celebrate his goals are ??? Make up your own minds.
  23. Best - 2-1 vs Aberdeen to clinch European football, for once we dealt with the huge pressure of having to win then actually doing the business. 1-0 vs Rangers on Boxing Day 2001 when Faddy scored. 2-2 vs Hearts after Phil died, the courage the players showed after going 2-0 down to come back and grab a replay will live with me forever Worst - Losing 2-1 to Dundee at home when the next tie was away to Queen of the South in the SC quarters. Losing to Ayr United 4-3 at home when it wouldve been Partick Thistle at home in the SC quarters. Getting beat 4-3 in the SC semi final off Rangers, shouldve had the game sewn up before half time but came back to haunt us, we wouldve pumped Dundee in the final
  24. Aye but the stewards still act as if they are the police . There sucking the fun out of following Motherwell, you never see us getting treated like that away from home. I remember a game earlier in the season when they told the fans to sit down after we had scored! Tell me whats right about that?
