I reckon thats why he's benched, in case Mcginn doesn't make the whole game. If Mcginn has to go off, we're only disrupting one position. If SOD had started at RB and had to replace McGinn later, you'd be making two changes to a four man defence. Just a theory though, I could be talking shite 🙂 Also, think Johnny K offers more attacking threat.

Was also the first league game of the season to be fair.

The kick off time yesterday meant I had to run out the door for work the second the game finished, but, after a slightly shite day (for non football reasons) I went out to work in one hell of a good mood 😁 I was impressed by the fact that we probably didn't play as well as we have at times this season, but we kept at it, didn't move a centre half up front and launch it long. We kept playing our game and got the wee bit of luck we deserved with 'Tony' K's goal. The penalty just basically meant we didn't have to suffer the fear during injury time. Brilliant result !! One thing that has slightly irritated me is the fact that all the press reporting over this game has concentrated on Jimmy Thelin rather than the mighty 'Well.

I thought all the injuries were supposed to be 'Kettlewell's fault'. What's happened ? Is he sneaking into our training sessions wearing a disguise ?

Been some turnaround for Thelin. Ten games in last season they were talking about him challenging for the league 🙂

Could be worse. We could be Aberdeen or Rangers. It'll come. We're five weeks into a season with a complete change of players and style. We've outplayed everyone we've seen this season. It'll come good at the top end in time. Another good thing is we're five games undefeated, which is miles better than the five games without a win it would have been if Kettlewell was still in charge 😂

75-76 we drew five league games in a row, lost one (against the worst team in the league) and then went on a run that saw us finish 4th and be conned out of the Scottish cup by corrupt masonic refereeing.

I'm doing this AI predictions ACCA thing with a couple of mates and they've got us down to get beat today, but on the other hand, that means I have money on us losing, which means a certain win !

I couldn't watch the game today for some unknown reason, but if one was to look at the BBC stats.....60% possession, 15 shots on goal, 7 on target, 13 corners, you could be forgiven for surmising it was an exciting performance with loads of goalmouth action. I'm guessing from the tone on here, that wasn't the case ?
