I must admit, i've been having to check myself quite a lot in the last few weeks, as I've come away from a few of our wins like 'meh' 😕 Previous seasons, especially when battling relegation, a win would put me on a high for at least the rest of the night, and the wins against Rangers put me on a high for days. I think I might be developing 'Old Firm Fan Cunt Flu' and need to find a cure. Going into games expecting wins is not normal and complacency is something I don't think any 'well fan has ever suffered from before, except maybe when Davie Hay was the manager and we were skelping everyone 5 and 7 nil.

Think that's pretty much everyone's first choice starting eleven, no ? (Other than maybe Johnny K).

Well, we made heavy weather of that !

Was intending to go down there after it. When they won in the cup (was it Raith ?) they were all outside singing the northern lights as I walked past. They got a quick chorus of sheep shagging bastards, before i realised there were about 60 of them 😄 Still worried about MJC's prediction though 😄

Match Day !!! I've been going to Motherwell games since 1972 or so, season tickets from 1976 to 2005. 'Irregular attender' since I moved away in 2005, but an avid follower of EVERYTHING Motherwell. Obviously, there have been periods of good (sometimes great) and not so good teams, but I can't think of a period in all that time where i've been so f****n' excited for the next game to come. As soon as the final whistle sounds, i'm thinking......how long till the next one ??? Am currently in Tenerife until April and have just discovered there's an Aberdeen boozer just 5 mins walk from my flat. Hopefully it'll be a very unhappy place later ! A bit worried by MJC's prediction though 🙄

Spot on, I'm sure there was another one in the same time period as well. Two or three goal kicks that should have been corners. A number of little things like that across a game can change the momentum completely. That's the thing when playing the likes of them. Small shifts in momentum giving them the edge, consistently helped by referees. It doesn't all have to be dodgy VAR penalties and extra minutes. The whole flow of the game is changed by these constant 'small' decisions.

I probably take it WAY to seriously, but when we lose to either arse-cheek, it puts me in a stinker of a mood for at least two days. At least at the moment, i'm not at home so won't need to come into contact with any gloating currants if we do lose. I so desperately want to see us give them the pumping they deserve though 😁

I'm still on holiday and the wife has been told if she wants to go out tonight, she's on her tod ! I always get 'the fear' for these games. I know we're capable of beating them, but having watched us since the early 70's, I've also seen some great 'Well teams take a doing from them. I hope to be heading down The Mirador Strip in my Well strip come the final whistle, with a spring in my step !
