You're being very existentialist, mon vieux, but that's an excellent question. When I think of that and Kmcalpin's query re decisions against us with the Ugly Sisters evening out over the years, I always return to Bob Crampsey's (Brain of Britain and footballing intellectual) retort to those who questioned if there was bias towards the Old Firm.
Remember, he had been watching our game weekly since the 40s. He was quite unequivocal that bias has always existed towards the OF and thought any suggestion to the contrary ridiculous.
So its all down to bias - and refs are biased shits

Just goes to show that what we see during a game is not always what the coaching staff see day in day out that justifies the manager selecting a guy for a game.

Right, but for me, "mixing it" doesn't mean 60 minutes of slogging it out followed by 30 minutes of football. It means playing our football from the start, when we have the ball, and working hard to press and win it back when we don't.
It's not an either/or proposition.

Hard game today. Partick have been playing well and Salmon is hitting a run of form - hopefully our defence is solid and Main continues his run of goals.

The move should go ahead if Celtic midfielder Scott Allan, who is on loan at Dundee, joins Hibernian.
Seems strange that Dundee would agree to Bain moving if it means they lose Allan.

Personally I think Rangers are missing a trick here. With 11 points between the teams and Celitic being significantly weakened, could they or Aberdeen possibly win the title stopping Celtics 10 in a row ambition?
They could put in a bid of £600k and loan him back until the summer

Hopefully, Curtis Main is the next Willie Pettigrew and the wee guy is the next Bobby Graham who will give Main the service to let him score a shitload of goals.

Its not like he was born and brought up in Motherwell, that would at least give some credence to folks displeasure at him having supported Rangers as a boy.
He was a very good player for us and always comes across a decent guy. Id stop short of hoping he does well at Rangers, but I certainly wont be booing him on his return to fir park.
Agree with you but I do hope he does reasonably well at Rangers - but not against us - as I believe he deserves the chance of a Scotland recall.

Bowman being announced as MOTM at the end of the game had me laughing. The guy was absolute bobbins. Every time he got the ball he headed for the corner flag at a rate of knots. Any quicker and I'd have caught him at full time outside Upper Crust.
Although not my motm, Bowman set up our goal and put in another 3 balls that we could/should have capitalised on.

The way I saw it Hartley lunges in to block the shot with his leg which he does. The ball flies up in the air and hits his arm. There is no attempt to block with his arm;it's ball to hand not hand to ball.If the ball had bounced of his leg in any other directions we would be discussing a great block.
Agree with this but would like to see it again from different angles.
Also still think we has a very good claim turned down when Hartley was impeded

The club prepared and released the statement and could have not put in what he said if there was bad felling so I think there is nothing in it.

By all reports their keeper played a blinder - one report says he was unplayable - which seems to have been the difference.
On another day we could have ran out easy winners. Really hope one of our strikers steps up.

Back up keeper for now. I wouldnt drop Griffith for a guy we have just signed, was club less so dont know his fitness or sharpness, would be playing with guys hes just met and have possibly only seen in training once or twice.
Fuckin madness to put him straight in.

Although Ciftci has talents that Bowman doesn’t, Bowman is a player I think can give more in certain games. I think these two should be interchangeable depending on the opponents.
