  1. would have loved to beat mcghee but i'm happy with a point. undefeated to the international break sounds good to me
  2. just back from the palace where i met the motm leader o'brien, told him about it and obviously that i voted for him (kiss ass) and he had a good laugh about. good player and a good guy to boot! nice one jim!

  5. went for forbes, thought mchugh and humphries did well when they came on and hately was definately good enough at right back but forbes just stood out, what a left foot the boy has!

loving it, a proper smart top. best away top for a while imo
  7. maybe the new away strip hasn't been shown yet due to the fact our new star striker/right back is getting his photos wearing it just now

  11. i think the younger players will have had a look on here, didn't rossco post up on here or was i dreaming yours faithfully ross forbes
  12. says on the well website 1sub apperance in 2008/09
  13. i agree with the mcgarry to go before fitzy, fitzys stamina can last for over an hour for a start, he has also done pretty well when mcgoo asked him to cover the old firms wingers like mcgeady.
  14. this is a strange story, hammel will be essential for our squad this year, no way can we let him go.

    Jim Gannon

i've got a good feeling from these games, seeing the passion and commitment we had from the whole team that a good cup run will be on the cards this season.

    New Signings

the combination of coke and forbes together looks like that's where our attacks will come from, while we only really had hughes in the middle creating last season, so a definate improvement. jennings will prob play the holding midfielder but reynolds played better in that position better last night, humphrys looks to have the pace but it will take time for him to improve, o'brien is definately still a more accomplished winger. and ruddy even though he has let in 6 goals in 2 games looks to have much better gk skills than fraser
  17. that deliberate hand ball when the keeper was well out was so obvious, and it looked like the o'brien penalty wasn't intentional. i tried not to get wound up last night about what happened but seeing the highlights has pushed me over the top lol very frustrating
  18. kinda looked like a 4-2-3-1 to me o'brien craigan hutchinson hammel coke reynolds murphy forbes slane sutton
  19. sutton was brill tonight, won like every single ball in the air, came back to help the midfield at times and didn't stop trying for the full game. forbes and coke played really well together as did craigan and hutchinson

    Jim Gannon

he was a good player but no biggy in losing him... but it's inevitable that he will score against us this season, always happens
  23. a goal in the first 20mins will get the crowd going and who knows what could happen. what ever the outcome, gannon and the boys have done great in this tournament considering the circumstances.
  24. i saw the sunderland boys going into their coach at fir park today whilst i was gettin SB tickets, dont know anything of the score though
