  1. Are they all capable? I've yet to see any defensive capabilities in the CB position from close to any of them
  2. Thanks for the update, good to hear from within the club On another note, some people on here need to seriously get a grip
  3. Jim Goodwin was in the Phil o' donnell tonight...
  4. had the pleasure of a free ticket for the home end from a mate, we didnt look in the game until we switched back to 442, which imo we should have started with (even though celtic kind of took the foot off the gas come the end) kerr looked decent ring wing when he came on. I came into the game expecting 0 points but its a total bonus that dons and caley lost for us so i think its a good way to take us into the international break looking in quite a strong position
  5. For the players we have we will have to win games with possession and pressure rather than the quick exciting football that we've been watching recently. It might be a less enjoyable watch but with the calibre of player brought in we should still be able to beat most Premiership teams. The current back 4 will do fine and should cause problems in the opponents box for set pieces (especially with the players we have that can take decent free kicks) A midfield of Las, Lawson and Vigurs should be able to control most Premiership games, especially if they have the faddy out ball in front of them. Faddy needs to play centrally behind Sutton and Arnier. Angol could perhaps replace faddy in the role behind the strikers in the gareth bale mould for an impact of pace if things aren't going to plan. Hollis Ramsden Hutch Mcmanus Hammel Vigurs Lawson Lasley Faddy Sutton Arnier
  6. the express at the weekend said we are interested in getting Dylan McGeouch on loan from celtic, from what I've seen of him in the Scotland u21's he seems like he could be a good edition to the right wing vacancy, don't know why celtic would be willing to loan him out to a major rival though!
  7. went for big mick as well, just clearly a class above the norm in defence.
  8. I know Saunders, they weren't best buddies anyway but during pre season last year McCall said to him he would be his first choice right back, I think with the injuries he's had he got more frustrated with the lack of opportunities to come back after getting back to full fitness near the end of the season. I can see mccalls point that we shouldn't change a winning formula. He was a good player with loads of potential, I recon we will regret releasing him in the future
  9. good signing for the midfield, handy for fans with Law on the back of their shirts, just need to add 3 letters. I'm sure McCall had these people in mind
  10. That's if Saunders stays here as well, he's out of contract in summer too
  11. I think we can take them, as long as we have a fit starting 11 we have nothing to fear. bring em on!
  12. hopefully get a win on sunday but after how tired the players will be and injuries etc i'd be happy with a draw but would be expecting a win the following weekend. 4 or 6 points from the next two then we can build some momentum
  13. Definately remember levens name coming up a good few times on soccer saturday for mk dons
  14. Fingers crossed this stevenson deal goes through, always thought he looked a good player at hearts. Hoping for one more signing after him as well, greedy but ah well.

  19. super happy, lookin up the table again! GIRUY BROON
  20. I feel a trouncing comin. no direction at the moment
  21. well done Jennings for coming out and telling the truth, surely refs hear this stuff all the time and so the ref was just being an arsehole to stamp down some authority. I have no hard feelings towards Jennings as he was wearing his passion to win the game on his sleeve, also pretty funny!

I've had enough. Only thing that makes me want to go is to give the motherwell the cash support they need to survive.

    Surreal

couldnt see the penalty claims but thats besides the point with the constant lack of fouls given that stopped us from playing our fast paced game which were always given for to hearts if they were in the same situation. the play on from the free kick block was shockin not to get a retake and a booking for skacel. Cant actually describe how much of a dick that ref is for giving jennings that straight red. Also his yellow in the first ten mins for his first tackle in the game just goes to show that all he wanted to do was parade himself as the big man. utter disgrace...
