I think the wind played it's part in Cedric's misjudgement yesterday but I wouldn't say I've noticed any real indecision under a high ball - the guys wins 90% of what's chucked at him in the air.

I'm expecting 5 grand worth of flares and smoke bombs. Anything else will be a massive disappointment.

Just one of those games where too many are having an off day. Hibs were decent and absolutely nullified everything we sent to Bowman and Moult. Sometimes you've got to credit the opposition before being overly critical. No doubt we'll learn from it and move on.

Like many 'well fans, I'm going to this game believing we are better than Hibs. Says a lot considering they massive difference in budgets. I'm remaining optimistic and predicting a narrow win however it's worth remembering that this will be an incredibly tight game and a defeat shouldn't detract in the slightest from our excellent start to the season.

Any game he misses will be a huge loss, however we've got the versatility in the middle of the park to drop McHugh back as an able replacement. Gone are the days when we lose a key player and are automatically fucked.

It just gets better. Almost a full round of fixtures gone and we're in a European spot. To switch it around so much and still get 3 points just shows what a squad Robinson has assembled.

There's something quite disturbing and sinister about the rhetoric on the Radio (both channels) tonight, even from folk like Tom English who I think usually cuts through the crap. Bowman's been getting labelled violent, nasty, "a dangerous player" and with "impartial" Rodgers weighing in we're getting more and more folk stoked up about something which is a yellow card incident across the country every other week. Listening to Clyde - didn't realise we needed 3 days of national mourning after a Rangers defeat. Alves offered a two match ban has taken this to a whole new level. Clip of Robinson just played there - the only one talking any sense amongst all this. Bowman has had 3 yellow cards in 46 odd appearances and 9 in his 5 year career.

To be fair, from what I've heard and read in the media yesterday and today has been paying us a compliment to our physical side and Rangers failure to match it. Most the radio pundits have been slating Alves for his post-match comments and in the 20 or so minutes I heard of the clyde phone-in, even Rangers fans seemed to accept it was their team which failed to match up to us and the Pedro is a donkey.

I'm sure I saw a post about ticket allocations but can't find it now.... Anyway, we asked for 22'000 in 2011. We were awarded 16'000 and sold out with noises coming from the club that we could have easily sold 22'000. The league Cup doesn't carry the same history, prestige and prize as the Scottish Cup but I don't think that'll matter a jot - we'll take 16'000 this time round again. I'll be amazed if we're awarded more and wouldn't be surprised if it's less.

I don't think we can underestimate what yesterday was for this group of players and for Steven Robinson in particular. In the past we've had squads of ex-EPL pros and guys with champions league experience and international caps. With the exception of Hammell, Bigirimana and McHugh, who have all played in some big individual games - for the majority of our team that was the biggest game of their careers. That it was within a team assembled 4 months ago just make it even more remarkable. That Robinson has taken Bowman and Moult from an incompatible pair to an SPFL nightmare front two says it all. Fucking hell - this is a good time.

Pains me to say it, but when more and more are choosing to park themselves in front of Skysports and watch the EPL shite, we shouldn't be turning people away who want to come to an actual game of fitba. What would your rules be? Always max of 50/50 no matter how many empty seats are in one end?

Yep, I do think Hibs would have taken a bigger crowd if it wasn't Celtic they were playing. The fact that they've been allowed to hold onto 10'000 unsold seats is an absolute shambles.
