With a combined average home attendance of over 70k the Hibs Celtic game at Hampden should be well and truly sold out. Not sure what it says about our game that it isn't.

100%. I was saying this at the time he was appointed - you don't have to look far to read about how much of an abnormal situation that was. If anything - I think we've got an even better manager for that experience at Oldham and Robinson has said as much on a few occasions.
-
Loved his press conference last week but he seems like a "wheel's turning but the hamster's dead" kinda guy. I'm guessing he might think riling up Morelos might cause him to lose his composure. Had a wee chuckle at the comment but I agree, bit of an odd one.
-
I think that was evident in the crowds reaction to the Accies goal. No panic or "aw here we go" reactions. The team have proved that we should keep the faith, and in turn they're getting our backing even when we lose goals.
-
Nope. I'd happily still have Ainsworth as a squad player but I doubt he'd get much game time these days. Not sure we'd have the same team spirit if McDonald was still in the dressing room.
-
I don't think anyone is expecting that. The absolute basics of not tripping up over the ball / own feet would be a good start.

That was excellent. Scrappy game and we certainly weren't slick but we were effective. Good performances across the board - I thought Bowman, Carson and Hartley were excellent but Rose was the real standout today. Only negative has got to be Dunne who is absolutely guaranteed to cost us points (or a place in a cup final) if he continues with his mistakes. You could make a blooper reel from today's game alone. Robinson has a big decision to make there.

6-5 on penalties 5-0 2-0 1-0 All at NDP since Accies got promoted in 2014 and I've been sat through each of them. No matter how well we are playing I've still got the fear.

500 from an allocation of how many?

Wee clip with McInnes made me laugh - I absolutely love Cadd's attitude.

A hellish place to go a few years back however they're almost shite and we're almost good now. All ticket.

Scottish Premiership Game 8: Partick Thistle (H) Saturday 30/09/17

Between two poles but further away from one that the other. Of the 4 games top 6 games so far we've been beaten by a 1 goal margin in 3 of them. We drew the other. We've had a good run at home in terms of opposition however as the last few seasons have shown, we have no right to expect to win any game and the margins between most of the Premiership teams are so slim that we shouldn't be taking anything for granted. Every point gained so far has come from sheer guts and determination. You are right though - some bigger tests are on the horizon. Absolutely agree with your point that Dunne has played a huge part in how solid our defence is. We're only behind Celtic and Aberdeen in the goals conceded column - (conceded 10 in 8 with 4 in the one game - that says it all). However, I don't think we're looking for perfection from Dunne by asking him to do the absolute basic task of passing the ball to a Motherwell player. The number of unforced errors was something else yesterday. It's frustrating to watch as it seems like such an easy fix however I've every confidence in Keef to help the lad correct it. -
Solid performances from almost everyone, including the subs, so not an easy choice. I thought Moult, while still decent, wasn't his usual standard and Dunne - who was excellent defensively - needs to learn to pass. Too many unforced errors from him. Bowman as always, was the one getting us in control in the final third. Tait has really come on to a game in his more forward thinking role. I thought Tanner looked lively and off the back of that looks like another very good option in midfield. Went for him.

It says a lot that we've scored 3, kept a clean sheet, had almost all the team putting in solid performances and we still weren't near our best. Enjoyed that - thought Tanner, Tait and Hartley were standouts today. -
The club statement: "Ryan leaves with our best wishes for the future and is always welcome back at Fir Park" suggests that the club are quite happy with his contribution. I know nothing about marketing but it seems like the kind of job we all think we can do. Which we can't.
-
Aye. £3 more than a home game at Fir Park. Not sure what folk were expecting - have some only just realised that football is over-priced?
-
What changes would you have made? Fisher didnt have the impact we all hoped, however Robinson brought on a guy who proved last season that he can scores at this level. His change made sense when Bowman was absolutely done. As for Frear - again, it made sense at the time. He's obviously not match sharp and in fairness - when a winger is running at pace they often don't have time to look up and find the perfect pass. I think the fact we only had one in the box was as much of a problem as his cut-back. It's easy to criticise with the benefit of hindsight but to me, those changes were the right ones at the time.

Scottish Premiership Game 7: Aberdeen (H) Sunday 24/09/17 (12.15)

Shitfest indeed. However, I think the fact we're all slightly deflated by being narrowly beaten by the second best team in the country says a lot for the lads on the pitch today. -

Absolutely. Aberdeen are a very good side who are going through a shite patch. They might turn it around today and if we get beat then it's not really a reflection on us. The good feeling should still remain because I still think we are shaping up for a decent season. I went to Perth - we weren't brilliant regardless of the three red cards. That will probably happen again (the performance, not the cards). We need to allow the team to have off days and when it does happen, not let it burst the feel-good bubble. -
To be fair - there must be some truth in that otherwise he wouldn't still be at St Johnstone.

Good wee video here which shows how much of a nightmare he must be to play against. https://twitter.com/TheSPFLRadar/status/909455174896406528 Also worth pointing out that he's excellent with the ball at his feet and is a pretty tidy passer as well. Nothing spectacular but just keeps it simple and effective to get the ball out of danger and move the game on.
