  1. Is there actually any point in watching the last 5 minutes. Is there actually any point in watching the 1st 85 minutes. And I genuinely thought 5th place was a realistic target. I am starting to think avoiding relegation is looking like the more likely battle. There has not been much in the game but as soon as St Mirren scored we were fucked !
  2. A free kick in a promising position. You just knew whoever was taking it would do it justice... Maguire never even reached the box. That is so bad it genuinely is unbelievable
  3. If we had decent players we would be able to make better decisions in the final 3rd. Every time we take a heavy touch. Choose the wrong option. Need to be so much better or we will simply not score !
  4. We have got into good positions up front. But final touch is sooooo bad at the moment.
  5. And Kilmarnock. Christ. We might have to start winning games. Whatever next ! Hopefully they fail or we should appeal the appeal......
  6. Don’t disagree about our corners. Seedorf in the second half a particular delight. We had 5 players on the Hibs goal line and he (somewhat surprisingly) mishits it over everyone's head and out. Sums him up to be honest. On your other point, Robbo 100% has every right to moan at what was an appalling decision. There was nothing wrong with our goal. At 1-0 the game may have panned out a lot differently. Hibs may still have won but it certainly would have been more difficult for them. And to be fair he is also makes it VERY clear he is not blaming that decision for us losing the goals and game in the 2nd half. I though his after match interview was interesting. He seemed to take a different approach and talk up the positives. His only negatives were Watt missing a couple of good chances and them being able to bring Doidge off the bench. We were OK 1st half but very poor second half. It was not that long ago we were beating Ross C and Livi comfortably. Hibs are a much better team of course but I think we will have a better notion next Saturday when we play St Mirren. Win and we will Probably finish mid table. Lose and we will start to slide down the table and the scrutiny on Robbo will ramp up considerably. Big game. Need to be at it and for all players to play well for 90+ minutes.
  7. Quite. He is a twat Andrew Dallas. I thought at the time there was nothing obvious. Imagine that was an Old firm game and one of the teams won 1-0. Never hear the end of it. As it us it will be forgotten about this evening.
  8. I like your posts Ropy. Very amusing but.... I could not give a flying f*ck if he lets the game flow if he incorrectly chalks off a goal for us at 0-0. I have yet to see it analysed but if it is a poor decisions then it is an appalling decision. Hibs were markedly the better side in the 2nd half but had we been 1-0 up at HT then who knows how things would have turned out.
  9. We were unlucky 1st half. But that 2nd half performance was lamentable. Awful and simply not anywhere near good enough. What happened to make such a turn around. We were well in the game and quite probably should have been ahead at HT. I remember looking at the bench start of the season and purring. Today it had me hugely worried. Not one player that you could believe would make any kind of difference. Hibs were streetwise and made the last 20 minutes a stop start affair but what depresses me the most is that fact I know if we were 1-0 up we would be camped in our half defending like fury. At no point at 1-0 or even 2-0 did we look like getting back into the game. Granted we were unlucky with Mugabi hitting the post but we were essentially very weak. That is a worry in a league when at the very least most team have players that will battle away.
  10. Seedorf cannot even take a basic bloody corner. The box was packed and it sails over. Hardly surprised !
  11. Hibs started the better off the sides in the 2nd half. We were and have been slow all over the park. Great save from Archer but nothing he can do about the goal. Marginally better than last week but far too pedestrian. Seedorf on to save the day !!!
  12. We have been the better side for the last 20 minutes. Be interesting to see that disallowed goal again. Appeared to be a close one...
  13. Hibs getting a lot of joy down their right hand side. Need to tighten up. They are getting too many crosses in. We are struggling to hold on to the ball. Need to do better. Our midfield has been very quiet.
  14. Archer starts and Lamie on the bench. That will do for me. Mon the Well.
  15. Surely they need to look at Manager of the month for October ? I heard somewhere it means we won all 4 games. That would mean Robbo should have been a shoe in.
  16. And invariably we would have drawn them next round whilst Hibs get Alloa at Easter Rd. At least we will be spared that.
  17. Was upset we lost yesterday but not overly But now it looks like Celtic will join Aberdeen and Hearts then it does hurt a little more. We get to finals and invariably play Celtic or Rangers. We get knocked out early and big seeds tend to get knocked out. Typical Motherwell....
  18. I think calls for his head based on his performance as Motherwell Manager are nonsense. We have had poor runs during his tenure but based on all rationale evidence he has done what was expected of him and on many occasion a whole lot more. I think Lamie is unfortunately not a premier division player and has shown numerous times to be a liability and culpable for losing many avoidable goals. My comments were in part tongue in cheek. But were he to continue to select him based on his performances then I would call into Q the judgement of Robinson. I would call for Robinson to be sacked if we were sitting in 11th or 12th and on a run of defeats and defeats against teams with lower budgets. But that is not where we are nor have we been so to clear up any confusion once again calls for Robinson to be sacked are nonsense. That may not and probably will not always be the situation.
  19. Calls for Robinson’s head are as per usual utter nonsense. We have had such an interrupted season and little luck with injuries and Covid related matters. We were poor today and I would like an answer why Lamie started over McGinley. That to me is a mystery. And all on the Manager. if he picks him again then he should be asked to move on..... Once we get a few players back and a decent run of games then we can judge. Based on our budget anything above 8th is what is expected and for now in the league anyway we are on track for that. We do have a fair amount of sh1t in the squad, but hardly surprising given the wage budget. Also typical we lose when Hearts and Aberdeen are also out. Watch St Johnstone pull Alloa at home from the draw. Tbh if we were still in it we would draw Rangers at Ibrox so only another round. One of these days we will get a slice of luck in cup draws. Probably in 2041.
  20. I will have to listen again but I am fairly certain he admits it was his fault. He picks the team - he takes the responsibility In which case he is saying he is to blame. He does however blame pish poor defending and that is 100% on him. Not a ONE Motherwell fan understands why he picked Lamie over McGinley. Not saying we would have won but he is a goal conceded a game defender. Every time. Maybe I am a blind optimist but I still think we will finish top 6. Based on nothing but eternal hope.
  21. To be fair I think Lang can be excluded as he was OK today. We were not at it today and got what we deserved. We miss Campbell bite in midfield and we seem to have been fucked over more than most re cancelled games and all matters going wrong. But Lamie playing is squarely on the Manager !
  22. I don’t really care tbh. Sadly a Q of who loses to one of the Old firm in the semis or final. I would rather we finish 5th in the league. But after today there is a growing realisation that may not happen. I was confident but not now. I am a fan of Robinson but Christ knows what his game plan was today.
  23. Should never have started. Unless McGinley is injured. What has he done not to start the game today ? I am genuinely perplexed. We have been awful but we’re 1-0 up and comfortable until the inevitable happened.
