  3. Birmingham City are likely to take up the option to extend James McFadden's contract at the end of the season, but the Scotland forward wants to return to Motherwell one day and end his career there. (the Sun)
  4. Just reading that Jones scored 9 in 43 for Walsall, not bad for a player getting on in years
  5. It seems according to his interview, he turned up (probably as a trialist, as HC said), then the people that be at our end, started the ball rolling regarding the pre-contract, but then his club told him to get his ars* back to them pronto because he still had a fair bit of his contract left to run
  6. If you look at the article, it seems he says that if we make a suitable offer for him, then he'll come, does'nt sound like a pre-contract to me, especially since he mentions having a 3 year contract with them
  7. Algerian set for Motherwell Algerian defender Salim Lazreg says he will sign for Motherwell at the end of this season once his deal with homeland club El Eulma expires. Salim was offered a deal after impressing boss Craig Brown during a trial spell. http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...6prmd%3Divnsfdo

  11. Disappointed but really wish him all the best. I get the feeling when he move to Everton he was still based in Cambridge, so the perfect move for him

  18. I think its great Craig is making it pretty obvious he wants the job, with little hints like the other day where he said he will make transfer dealings like he is the permanent manager and now another hint dropped today Motherwell caretaker manager Craig Brown: "My players got what they deserved, because they've been working without a match for two weeks and it's hard to train without an incentive. "The first goal in a game of this nature was going to be vital. If Kilmarnock had got the first goal with a new manager, they would have been right behind the team. "To play against a new manager, especially with Jimmy's presence and motivational qualities and charismatic nature, we had to play well, and I thought we did that in the second half."
  19. I'm wondering if his name makes him sound a better player than he actually is
  20. Someone on the taboard has supposedly heard that the international striker who might be coming to us is..........................Nuno Gomes
  21. Definately sounds like Brown really wants the job too in that article
  22. http://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/index.php?op...&Itemid=134 Friday, 01 January 2010 Everton duo extend their stay Motherwell loan pair John Ruddy and Lukas Jutkiewicz have increased their stay for another month whilst their futures are discussed further. Both are wanted on a longer term basis and the club will discuss the possibility with Everton during the transfer window. General Manager Leeann Dempster said, “This extension gives us a little bit more time to get things sorted with Everton. “We are very keen to keep both players but with the January transfer window promising to be busy for both clubs, this gives us a safety net to ensure the guys can play in our vital matches this month. “John and Lukas have done exceptionally well for us in the first half of the season and they both enjoy it at the club. It’s now a case of thrashing out a deal with Everton that works for both parties.” One player leaving the club is French defender Yassin Moutaoaukil who has returned to Charlton Athletic after three and a half months in North Lanarkshire. Everyone at Fir Park would like to thank Yassin for all his efforts and wish him every success in his future career.
