  1. I'm not having a go, and I don't suggest that any have been deliberate, but does anyone know how many own goals Craigan has now scored against us?
  2. Forbes was very impressive. It's probably harder to do the job he does at his age than it is for Slane and Murphy (who were both great) who have the freedom to get running at people and make things happen. Not his fault, but Jim O'Brien at right back is a disaster. Hope that's the end of that experiment.
  3. I'd only take Butcher back as Malpas' assistant.

    St Mirren

I didn't think we played too badly last night. Too neat and tippy tappy in the last third. Arsenal get criticised for trying to score the perfect goal all the time and we are trying the same it seems. And we ain't Arsenal. Thought Stephen Hughes was our best player. Only one who threatened to score. What a difference having grass on the pitch made to him...

    Falkirk Game

Sportscene last night had this game down as the Sunday fixture. I thought it was on Saturday and so does the official site as far as I can see... Anyone know for sure?
  7. O'Brien's energy was great and he showed signs of the player he can be. Thought he could have run past Lee Wallace a bit more often as he clearly had to pace to do it. Klimpl makes a huge difference in the middle of the park and lets the others play. The contrast between him and Malcolm in that position is night and day. That said, the defence won the game for us last night. I thought it was noticeable that Reynolds was more no nonsense and hoofed it out the park when he needed to. Also won a lot of headers he was never favourite for. Voted for him, but could just as easily have been Craigan.

    Accies On Saturday

Time for McGarry and Malcolm to drop out. Hughes has not been as effective as last season but I thought that he and Lasley worked their socks off on Monday. McGarry loses the ball more often than not and Malcom's lack of mobility is really costing us. Fitzy in for Malcolm to give us energy and hopefully allow Hughes and Lasley to play a bit. Murphy for McGarry and Clarkson (if fit) for Sutton. 4-3-3. Get it down and play football.
