  1. I don't pay in to watch falkirk i go because i love motherwell and just because i can't lay my hands on the £'s to buy a season ticket up front it doesn't mean i want to miss games
  2. reading some of the posts on here you would think patg punters are second class citizens at fir park yet we pay our way over the course of a season according to those sums
  3. From BBC: Average wage in UK 2008 = £20,801 gross Weekly: £400 gross Entry to FP: £18 Based on 37.5 week: 1 hour 40 mins work to gain entry based on that, some bandits getting some of my wages
  4. maybe its me but craig brown talking up neil lennon(again)for the celtic job isn't what i want to hear in the lead up to a massive week of football for the club
  5. i never understood the fuss when he was with us,he was an accident looking for somewhere to happen most games and now dundee don't want him we want him back? f*** that
  6. agreed, its normally the extra pint drinkers who leave a footprint on your trainers on the way past as well
  7. That is my biggest hate at the match nowadays,if your pocket money is burning a hole in your pocket can ye no go to to the puggies before the match instead of making numerous trips for sweeties when the game is on
  8. i did say it was a contributing factor to the state the pitch is in, maybe if we had a flat pitch with grass on it the end product might be slightly better.
  9. Because its part of the reason we are watching shit football on a shit pitch every season, its not the only reason but its a contributing factor
  10. Livingston were a brand new product, we have 123 years of history and a reasonably steady fanbase to build upon and any new stadium will be 5minutes from our old ground so there is no comparison between the clubs

    Jim O'Brien

probably doesn't compare to the abuse he gives his own team mates when he isn't getting his own way. maybe if he cut out the moaning and petulance he would be as good as he thinks he is
  12. I think the way he spoke after the Ross County game (when he said a lot of those players were on their way out)had the desired effect for him because most of those players will never play for a club that big again. In answer to the original question no way, could you imagine it on here next week if there was even a remote possibility that we had layed down
  13. Celtic were more demoralised the last time we played them and look how that turned out,for all their problems they are still unbeaten in league games under lennon
  14. With the game being on sky, something will have to be done because last sunday proved people aint going to spend their hard earned when they can watch in the house/pub
  15. Frankie boyle eat your heart out
  16. aye,and who is the best team to play when you are on a run like that?
  17. they should have told that gordon brown to shift his election 24hours and stop messing us around

    Pitch To Blame

So will we need another new pitch this summer and what if we get the same weather come december? the pitch has been a mess for four months yet there seems to be very little info about what is going to happen next.
  19. all the other facilities in that pic suggest it is used for more than just the 90 mins on a saturday, which has got to be the way forward.its just unfortunate we couldn't have had something tied in with the sports centre being built up the 'craig

    Pitch To Blame

Totally agree, but why is it we are the only club going through this every year? all the other clubs who had the same winter as us are back playing on grass while we are still trying to introduce beach football to the paying public

    Pitch To Blame

The difference was there to see on tuesday night when we passed celtic off the park for long spells, then come back to fir park yesterday with balls bobbling and bouncing all over the place. blaming individuals (murphy v falkirk and now fraser)glosses over the fact that our own club created our biggest problem with that disgrace of a pitch
  22. Until someone with a healthy bank account steps up and starts writing cheques we will have to make do with what we have so all this talk of moving is pure fantasy.
  23. Me personally,i would sit in our dilapidated little ground for years to come if they did one thing -give us a pitch that can last all season. I only go there for90 mins every second week so i don't really want to much from the ground, just a green bit in the middle.
  24. The problem we have is that everybody else did their deals before the economic balloon burst, the construction industry will be years(decades?) before it picks up to a level where developers will be interested paying the kind of money we would need to up sticks and move.
