Malcolm wasn't bad for us, nowhere near like what people on here are making out ffs. People will gloss over that since they don't like him as a person. Aye, he was slow so there was no point in him charging about all game like Lasley and being caught second to everyball. He had to sat in the hole and rely on his positioning and reading of a game to sheild the back four, most of the time he prevented teams ramming right through the middle. I wouldn't like to guess his fitness now and I wouldn't want to sign him after a year away from a decent standard of the game but he wasn't a bad player for us.

The puddles were only as bad last week though because of the snow melting through it, there'd have been alot up there, more than any usual rain fall would have been coming off. Regenerating the east stand by putting a new roof on it and building a new main stand would be far cheaper than the outlay for a new stadium. Where we'd have to purchase land then build 4 new stands. Building a new roof and a new stand would cost alot less I'm sure.

Why such a massive outlay when essentially half the stadium is in good nick though. Why not rebuild the main in to something like the Accies stadia? They're both pretty similar in design, just accies is brick built. The East stand needs a new roof aye, thats all. A new stand doesn't mean the out sourced food franchise will have your pie ready.

Loving the knee jerk reaction here, how many other times have we seen games caled off here due to this? It's only due to a really bad spell or prolonged cold thats seen this happen, it's been pretty much minus every day and night for a month. I doubt we'll see a cold spell like this again for a while, so whats the worry, repair it and we'll get the game played another time.

I'm of the opinion that it's never been the presence of Craigan that was the problem for conceeding goals when he's been in the side. It's more to the absense of Hammell. Who seems to keep the opposition pinned back due to his attacking nature.
