  1. To be fair, I never try, I just hope someone else will link to anything I am talking about
  2. Campbell had one challenge that was outrageously good. Bowman had his Hartley turn (I'm sure that's what they call it now). Carson neutralised their corners. Could pick anyone.
  3. I think we made it hard for ourselves today. We didn't try and play it along the ground. Too many balls were lobbed forward or were skied clearances. We won a few of the balls that went forward but I thought if we had gone down the outside more, like we did when Frear came on, it would have been more profitable. It looked like the attitude was get the ball forward, get the points and get out of town. And, to be fair, it worked.
  4. Seemed to have a darker one on today, mixing it up a bit
  5. That's what I heard. Wonder if it means Hartley would walk away from his current contract. Would be a great statement, you would imagine he gets paid more than we could offer. The lure of creating a platform for the future isn't there for him, he must just love playing the game.
  6. Bring the finesse players on in the second half
  7. Pay at the gate or get to Fir Park before 12
  8. I wasn't really, it was a throw away comment, made in the context of the debate about who should fill Scotland's midfield in the light of our recent discussions on how well Campbell is doing and how far he may go in the game, or in other words, a joke.

    Well Bois

Is that Twist and Shout I hear?
  10. The Scotland line up had just been announced
  11. How come he is not in that midfield?
  12. Who did the work? Worth them getting a mention on here.
  13. Celtic game postponed for this one to be played on 29th Nov. Means we play them 3 times in a week.
  14. When the ball came into our box it was Kipre's head that knocked it out, time and again. No failures, Moult perhaps under-performed spending too much time down the channels and failing to then link up with anyone else. See Tait's drive across the box for Tanner's goal as a profitable use of the ball from out wide. Went for Kipre.
  15. Tanner's turn today to get a game, as long as we get results it's good that the squad get a taste of playing time. Just Plummer that we have seen nothing of. The Lithuanian boy will get his turn when he is fit.
  16. I accept that paying off debt makes sense but money going straight into the clubs finances may be well spent but is ultimately lost. A reserve fund that can be dipped into when needed then paid back can be used time and again. That was the idea that I bought into. There are many reasons why people may stop contributing in the future, change of circumstances, run of poor form by the club, feeling that they have done enough. If all the money is spent then they have nothing to show for it other than perhaps a few years of 'punching above our weight'. Perhaps the Society money could be split, 50% to drive forward the club, 50% to build up the fund. I don't know what size that fund needs to be £250k? We could achieve that over the next five years based on the figures mentioned.
  17. Maybe the scouting system has a replacement lined up
  18. I am also bringing a visitor after a 20 year absence
