If he's better than what we have then bring him in. Loan deal so no risk. At this point in the transfer window it doesnt seem as bad an option as sticking with what we have. Even if this is just a boost in numbers/options
Slattery is the same as anyone else at the club - if an offer comes in which the club think is good business, he will be off
Signing for Millwall tomorrow by the way
Just made that up 🤣
Knee specialist or off to London to meet a suiter before the window closes?
As for Kettlewell, guys a fud. Hopefully we have no mercy on the park & show him the damage fast paced, attacking football can do. That would be the biggest "get it up yi" to him if he got a scudding from a team playing the polar opppsite of his footballing philosophy
Obviously gutting to draw in that fashion but positives are how well we played, remain undefeated after home game v rangers & two aways at difficult venues.
Night and day from the last few years & you can taste the positivity.
As others have said we will learn from today & move on.
Far more positives than negatives. MJC's maw is going to have to put extra detergent in the machine tonight when she washes his Y's
For what its worth i know quite a few Rangers fans who ditched their season tickets when they went down to D3.
I also know a few who stuck with their team through it all
Doubt partick can pay the sort of signing on fee that Watt enjoys.
The problem is clearly the guys attitude. He was easily one of the better technical players at both Utd & us, has still struggled & been punted on. What a career he could have had.
Saying that, its a hell of a lot better than Slane who we all thought was going to be the next faddy when he came through
Think they still do. The card scan is just validation thats tells them to put their foot on the pedal. Certainly doesnt look like they have upgraded anything - in the east stand at least
In the admitedly small sample of 4 minutes between 50& 54, Twente appear to be technically better, fitter & sharper. We are struggling to put a foot on the ball & its wave after wave of attacks
Cant see him signing any new deal without a guaranteed release clause, and while that may be fine for us with most players, Miller is a potential goldmine. Setting a clause too low does us no favours. Too high & he wont sign.
Hypothetical clearly but then we have the issue of wages. No idea what the lad gets but given his age & our budget youv got to expect <£1500 per week. Would he really sign something like then when he can already 'probably' command upwards of £20k per week?
The lad will be offski
Lionel are better player than the other two IMO
Just a shame he didnt always turn up
Lionels ability coupled with Humphreys attitude would make some footballer
