Well i didn't think we played that badly ,Ive seen worse performances this season, but there were some very poor individual performances from certain players AGAIN. Said it before and I will say it again were carrying passengers .

Like one or two others I think we got it wrong at the end of last season in our build up to the final ,it cost us ,but that was last season this is now a different scenario, now its all about where we finish in the league . Last year every game was a like a friendly match up to the final, this year every game is now like a cup final starting on Saturday against Rangers .A win would be great but I would take a point ....a heavy defeat though is unacceptable.

Think its going to be a great end to the season Dave starting with next weeks game against Rangers ,and who knows, could it be time to end our losing streak [10 years?]. Then Hibs away, tell you what I would rather play Hibs at easter road than at firpark we seem play better there for some reason. Then the split and whatever that brings but lets get behind the team this is no time for doom and gloom its still in our hands .Come on the Well.

Totally fair, Page had a good game on Saturday but isn't as good as either Clancy or Hutch ,were going for either 3rd or 2nd and now isn't the time imo to start messing about with the team. I want to see the strongest possible team on the park on Saturday and that does not include Page.

Hope Hutch and Clancy are back next week if fit ,I thought Page and Cummins were superb yesterday but Hutch and Clancy are now for me our best central defensive partnership.

Cant see Page being here next season.

Beat 2-5 by Celtic today ,first half we were down 0-5 but steadied the ship in the second and got a couple of goals back.

Not the greatest game but I enjoyed it ,I think wee Broon set up his team well and we found it difficult playing the long ball game against then ,still I thought the players worked hard with Clancy being my motm .Never good going out of the Scottish cup at this stage,the season even chasing a european place for me kind of dies away.

I sure I read somewhere that the last time we met the Dons in a quarter final was 1975 when we won 0-1 at Pittodrie ,I was at the game with my Father who is sadly long since gone ,but you know it just seems like yesterday, where have all those the years gone? Any you guys at the game ? On second thoughts I bet most of you weren't born. Football is a nostalgic game and when I think back to all the games Ive been to over the years the people Ive met the joys the heartaches it makes me proud to be a well fan. To be perfectly honest I no longer have any ill feeling towards Craig ,Archie or Aberdeen football club, in fact i wish them every success except when they play us because they ARE a great club who have been in the dole-drums far to long.

Im actually waiting to see what happens with the Rangers situation before 1) I join the well society2)renew my season ticket and 3) continue to go to SPL football .I will not put my hard earned cash into a set up that bends over backward to help the BIG GUYS but puts the boot into the wee diddie teams.

I think we will beat Aberdeen but it might take a replay at pittodrie before we go through.

Can you still sign out of contract players , my fear is that injuries and suspensions could leave us a bit stretched in our push for european glory. I know hearts signed Craig Beattie but i'm not sure of the circumstances surrounding the signing. So would it make sense to sign a couple of players till the end of the season ?

You involved with music in some way Iain ,just wondering with you starting the thread. Good initiative from the club by the way ,i like the clubs involvement with these projects.

What would be interesting to know is, are any fans signing up for the well society and giving there season ticket a miss next year, then pay at the gate as they can afford throughout the season. .Even at the lower end of the market you would need about £570 or there abouts to get both .Its a bit of cash to find. And add to the mix a wee euro trip perhaps, thats more £££££.
