We've only won 3 at home all season - Scoring 10 and conceding 3. For home defeats we scored 6 and conceded 20! -9 GD at home is terrifying. Still think Dundee are beatable, so long as McGhee doesn't try to play god!

I think given the fact that just before the break we were all delighted with the team. Sitting 6th, on the back of a few half decent games. Since December 3rd we have lost to Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Hearts. Only 1 of those games was an embarrassing result. I mean, it's not our fault that the best teams in the league have all hit form, and playing against us week in and week out. Even this weekend we play Celtic again! Last night has definitely put a huge dampener on the rest of the season BUT considering our fixtures, and the results we have had in the games in between, we should not be spitting the dummy. What we have left? Dundee, St J, Killie, Patrick, Hamilton and Caley Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen If we take 12-15 points from these games then I can see McGhees job safe until next year. I'd be okay with 9 if we avoid relegation playoffs.

In fairness, Clay(?) tried to score from 20 yards when we were 3 v 1 at the back, Skippy and a couple others took the shot when they should have passed, The mentioned sitter... combine that with the fact that our attack is better than their defence and you could argue we should have been clear and away by half time! Slightly off topic- Don't get to many games anymore, but judging by tv highlights, social media etc. Do we shoot from free kicks? Apart from those which are a yard or two outside the box, I can't think of another time we have actually had a player take a punt from a 25-35 yard range, McFadden v Hearts aside.

Doubt it, is there not a financial penalty for unsuccessful appeals? I think it's quite clearly a 50/50 decision so the club are probably trying their luck a wee bit. I think having Skippy out for two of the hard games is going to be a harder hit than him missing county.

Long, Currie and Stewart have all done well for themselves considering their limited experience with us and their age. Would all 5 be under Gordon Marshalls training?

Apparently hearts nearly scored 3 own goals then. We should have had 4, had it not been for hearts excellent show in defence. Not a bad performance overall, individual efforts lost us the game. Less mistakes and a bit more luck would have seen us win.

We need to win this. Will likely be my only game this season, preseason friendlies aside. It's these games that could make the difference come May. Hearts in a slump that we need to take advantage of!
