Out of the recent names quoted as interested, my choice would go to Steve Staunton. He is a highly experienced coach and player and could pull a few rabbits out of the hat.

I think it's quite hard to look forward to the new season at the moment, when we have a new manager and we have a few signing targets then i will be happier. Too much happening at the one time with players leaving, manager leaving and doubts about other players who may be leaving. Hopefully things will be changing by the end of next week.

I think that will be up to the new manager. It was already mentioned that Hearts have given Hughes a good offer so i doubt very much if he will be here in the new season.

I heard McGhee on the radio yesterday talking about going for 3rd place in the league with Aberdeen, he mentioned there would be strong competition from Hearts, Dundee Utd and Hibs, not even a mention for the so called "Best team outwith the Old-Firm" that he said recently about us.

I think Leitch's job is safe tagging along with McGhee whilst if he had took the 'well job there would have been a good chance he'd have failed and been out of a job. He obviously doesn't feel that he was good enough for the job.
