  1. Does anyone know if i'll be able to get tickets tomorrow for the game ? What times ?

they are intending selling tickets up to about 4pm .They have to take unsold ones to ibrox on the night...was just off phone asking that meself...best to phone before going up if you are talking late afternoon tho

  2. Btw, calling him by his surname is not a sign of disrespect in my opinion. Plenty MFC players etc. are refered to in this way and no disrespect is intended.

that is always teh problem with written stuff...people dont always get the meaning that was intended mate.

i just see most of the negative responses about our gaffer and any player referring to them by surname and see it as a bitty disrespectful imo

  3.

Fans have lost faith in McCall when it has come to facing Rangers. If we get beat HEAVILY on Wednesday HE, not the TEAM or CLUB, imo, will lose some support. That is whst was referenced in my post. No mention of one defeat and people not going back to Motherwell games, home or away.

    SOME fans may have finlay

Is wednesday night not the ONE defeat we are talking about and the reason why i think its so ridiculous that anyone would walk away...be it from team, sorry that was my understanding from your comment, or even the manager, because of 1 defeat is simply stupid

  4. I think he is talking nonsense. Anyone want to deliver the immortal line....?

    please do

still think its fecking ridiculous some of the comments on the aberdeen thread, where there are more positive things sed in the standfree site about our team than our own site, and i simply cant understand the talk of our gaffer losing the goodwill of any fans or fans walking away from him(?), apart from the ones that dont already have any for him from reading the way some refer to him anyway while we have just had one of our best seasons and started so well in the league this year.:help:

  5. here is a link to the aftermatch thread from the Aberdeen site.

there are faaaaaar more positive things sed about our team on their site than in either well forums so thought i'd put a wee link up.

everyone is entitled to their own views but , imo, some of the comments on both sites have been a wee bitty over the top with some even talking of walkin away if we dont win teh cup game on Wednesday or that Mccall...never the gaffer/SM/stuart Mccall etc ...will lose any goodwill he has from some fans if we lose.:help:

It must be fecking great to be a player/coach/manager or board member of our club irritated.gif

  6. i can't understand talk like that finlay

some people seem to have an agenda against SM and are looking for defeats from how it seems on both our forums

he has done great since he came....made some mistakes too......but again i will say we are STILL unbeaten and top of the SPL

with our squad and budget who would have predicted that?

a lot were predicting a relegation struggle...we may not stay there and may even lose a few games by the end of the season but hopefully we can stay top six

  7. To be honest mate, I have absolutely no idea on this one! I go to Ibrox and Celtic Park for the 'Well games more often than not anyway and when the draw was made there was absolutely no chance of me missing it - but I understand why there are a lot of folk who'd rather give it a miss. It's really hard to judge I reckon!

Originally, I would have said about 700 odds. However, if the number quoted today is correct and we've sold over 300 by lunchtime today - do we realistically think that we'll have sold around half of our final away crowd a full week before the match? I'd doubt that - as I said before, I'm nipping over for our 10 tickets on Friday, I know the ticket office is open on Saturday for people, and I'd image plenty of folks will pick their tickets up closer to the match, or even make the decision at the last minute.

So, if we have genuinely sold 300+ already, I'd be hopeful for hitting the 1,000 mark which I'd be happy with. Assuming the majority of that 1,000 are there for a bounce, a wind-up, and a sing-song obviously...

That really wouldn't surprise me. All the shite online from Currants boasting about their big revenge are just internet rockets, many of whom are rarely near Ibrox. They will fully expect to have their arses handed to them and I'd imagine that prospect being far too much to stomach for a lot of them.

Not sure we'd be looking at a sub 20,000 crowd - there's still the prospect of beating an SPL club there - but I can't imagine it being a sell-out. This idea that it's going to be a cauldron of vicious atmosphere is nonsense IMO.

There'll be about 5,000 left when Higdon puts us 3-0 up on the hour mark anyway.

are we getting 1,000 tickets for this game.

I thought we were only getting an initial allocation of round about 700?

  8. really looking forward to this game and first time i'v been to ibrox for a long time.

I REALLY REALLY hope green tries to pull a fast one about the program/ticket thing tho cos I am sure the taxman would have a wee interest in another tax avoidance scheme from them as programs dont carry VAT while ticket prices do

anyone know if its all ticket?

  9. ryan air are still doing a stansted >valencia flight on wednesday or thursday morning for £88

and barca to prestwick, saturday for 49 euros

altho if you want to get the £50 glasgow > stansted flight ( easyjet)on the wednesday then you will have to do the £108 stansted >valencia at about 7pm

ryanair still also have east midlands .valencia, wednesday for £73...with a £50 glasow > east midlamnds train ticket( if that is the airport lol)

  10. No offence to the lad but I hope this isn't Fraser Kerr. We've already got decent defensive cover even with Saunders out and hopefully McCall can see we're lacking more in other areas.

would allow rammers to play in the holding cemtral mid role?
