A nice idea but not one I agree with. What was the attendance last season when we dropped prices to a fiver for the game at FP against St. Mirren? That was a massive game for us and I'll be amazed if we got over 6,500. It is the poor product that are putting people off.
Nobody, in the early days, filled you with more optimism when he spoke than JG. I will wait and see how we do against ICT, Killie, and St. Mirren before making my mind up.
POD after a lengthy stay in the DC. Changed as I wanted a better overall view of the park and you get to see the odd belter of a bust up etc. close up when you are in that dugout vicinity.
Won't happen for two reasons. I don't think Killie are in a sound financial position to sack any manager and we won't pay the kind of money needed to get him out of his contract.
As Rickoza said it was Craig Moore. Apparently it was Archie Knox who was doing all the leg work. This was confirmed by a few pundits on Sportsound tonight.
Piece with Brown on the official site. Certainly putting himself forward for the job full time that's for sure. Speaks of "one or possibly two loan signings". Needs to be a striker then. If we don't get Lukas till the end of the season and we don't get someone else to play in that position in this window then we could be in soapy bubble. A defender would also be good.
I know I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here but did I hear correctly that if it is called off on Tuesday it goes the following Tuesday (19th)? No chance of a Saturday being scheduled for this means no chance of a decent crowd now.
Haven't we already got three keepers albeit one being under 19!! If we keep Ruddy till the end of the season I'd move Fraser on just now. Quite a big earner in Motherwell terms as I understand and like McGarry not justifying it.
I lost a bit of faith when I personally heard Gannon slate him (basically said he just does what he wants when he is on the park, on crazy money at Charlton, and he could get a better player from Scotland to replace him) then play him in the next and final three games under his watch.
It seemed when it came down to it JG didn't rate the guy. It would also appear from the comments I heard with my own ears that Yassin wasn't carrying out JG's instructions onto the park. Yet JG played him CONSISTENTLY. If he wasn't doing what he was told then I am amazed he was played. Unless it was a "contractural obligation". Or JG really didn't care or didn't really have a clue. Or both.
Bit off topic so apologies but what is the feeling at Rugby Park at the moment? Good chance of going down or staying up? My fear is with everything going on at Fir Park at the minute we could get dragged down that end too. A Killie supporting mate told me Billy Brown had an argument with a fan at Full Time on Boxing Day. Never a good sign. Thoughts are if you could afford it they would be sacked. To think Jeffries name has been linked to our vacancy as well. You must be hoping.
