Think of Utd fans who booked buses for the Wednesday and were then told 11 days ago that the match had been moved, they had to rearrange their transport to tonight. Then they get hit with this. Another example of clubs taking their fans for granted. No other type of entertainment treats their paying customers as badly as football does.
Spot on. Yet it's a myth that fans keep coming back for more. Attendances are proving otherwise.

Wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow?
-
Aye, sore one for the away fans that.
-
I've been predicting draws and we have been winning so, I'll go for 1-1.
-
Appears to be done in the hope of catching Utd a bit weary. It's a gamble as there will be a good few fans scunnered with this.

Higdon.

ANOTHER hat trick? Fuck sake Higdon, you greedy bastard. Pass the ball ya wank

yip pretty shit for anyone thats made arrangements to get to the game
the club might have reasons that we would sympathise with,
but since they choose not to share,
I'll stick with being pissed off that a game I'd made arrangements to get to has been moved with less than two weeks notice
Yip. Total agreement.

We'll sign Boyd when he accepts payment in large chocolate buttons (Asda's own brand).

Score draw for me.

the society board doesn't need the club's permission to consult the members.
if they sit back and do nothing while this 8-8-8 gets pushed through they open them to accusations that they are too close to dempster and co and don't want to cause them any problems.
I think it's natural that a certain closeness will occur. However, using it to prolong/maintain positions when/if things don't go well is another issue.
Again, though surely the time to consult members has now passed? This could have been done a wee while ago, as evidenced by this thread, and now comes across as very last minute.

My concern is that the Well Society is solely a fund raising venture. Time will tell on that one.
The thing is I don't believe any club has sought the opinion of their own support on league reconstruction. Mainly because I believe the Clubs want it, realise the fans won't be keen, and that's that.

Appears to be training with us at the moment.

i've got the one in the cup replay down as a langfield og but that might just be me being harsh....
for whatever reason players don't seem as willing to get their head over the ball and put their laces through it these days.
That was a poor penalty. Thankfully Clangers was on hand to balls it up.
Aberdeen in Cup last season and Hibs at home this season are the two I renember Higdon missing.
Le Tissier scored 47/48? Wow. Very good record.
-
Can't recall Shearer ever missing a penalty. The ball was usually bursting the net as the keeper was still watching him run at it.
-
Hateley had the balls to step up for it I'll give him that. I hope it was more 'senority' than Ojamaa not fancying it that helped that decision. Either way Henrik/Higdon for the rest of the season. In that order. Higdon has missed two by my reckoning. Hardly a shite record but thr good thing about Ojamaa is no SPL keeper knows his 'favourite' side etc. yet.
Slightly off topic but one of the best penalty takers I have ever seen (bar Shearer and Balotelli who never seem to miss) was Steve Bruce. That guy knew how to stick them away.
-
I'm not as clued up on Twitter as some, but surely there's a report function? If so, Ojaama should have simply reported the Tweet. Posting what he did won't look good on him.
I thought Ojamaa's tweet was in reference to fans at the game. Was it in relation to this total mileoot on twitter?

Great to see a player care so much for the club
This. Really very rare. Obviously loves it here.....but a move WILL be for the best for him.
-
A question should be why did McCall re sign Page in the summer only to release him six months later? Bit odd imo.
-
Christ, we get low enough attendances without one of our players advising supporters to stay at home.
Yeah, I agree with that possibly for different reasons. Don't think a player should EVER come out with that. Again, nae fans nae over inflated wages for a lot of players. Flip side is how bad was the abuse. Some go way OTT and are old enough to know better. Again, though it's a part of the game up here and no doubt just about every player has had to suffer it at some point? Does that make it right? No....but I'd argue that those kind of tweets are just as stupid.

Randolph for penalties campaign.
Problem with that is if the keeper saves it and keeps hold of it he has to be fouled immeadiately or your looking at conceeding a goal.
How Hateley is keep getting to hit freekicks, corners, and now a penalty is totally beyond me. Utterly woeful at the lot this season.

76th min when score on 0-0. Celtic then score on 78th according to BBC.
Cheers mate. Sickener.
Ojamaa has to hit the next one.
-
Just seen final score. Not surprised by that in the slightest. Penalty at Celtic Park. Jeez. First one of them in god knows how long????
Missed it. Not even surprised in the slightest. Forster saved it I take it? Hateley was bumped from penalties a few years ago for being gash. Was Ojamaa on the park? Seems a natural choice to me.
What minute did we get PK?

2-2. Unsure of attendance. My spare £22 for away games is beginning to run out/get spent elsewhere at the mo.
