  1. Well done Motherwell FC! Brilliant news. Credit to those who managed to talk the taffs round.
  2. You can be damn sure it'll be the last european game to get played in Airdrie... probably ever!
  3. The grey area is why they, seemingly, have decided to play the game at home and neither you or I know for certain what their motivation was. The cronological order of events (i.e. them asking to swap the ties, us refusing and then them refusing to move the game to accomodate our travelling support) may all be coincidence, it may be more financially rewarding for them or it may be a spiteful tactic. Who knows? Your sweeping statement "Motherwell fans are spoiled" is garbage. We want to see our team play. Any seasoned supporter will tell you we don't get into Europe that often so I can understand if folks get a bit agitated at the thought of missing such an occassion. Your point about drawing Villa, Everton, etc isn't valid as: 1. They're both unlikely to bring 10,000+ to an away game therefore Fir Park would be fine. and 2. You can be sure that any decision we'd make about a venue for a "big" match would be based purely on finance and giving us the best possible chance of progressing. I remain unconvinced that thats the case here.
  4. I somehow doubt my post on an unofficial fans forum will be pinned to the Llanelli changing room wall so lets not get overly dramatic. My previous post is certainly not a suggestion that anyone will go there purely to cause trouble. My fear is that a small element who will be pissed and hyped-up will have nowhere to to go other than the boozer for the entire day. To most, this doesn't pose an issue but the sad reality is that all supports have a bawbag element and a minor incident can spark something more serious especially given that many, including myself, feel (rightly or wrongly) that if there are insufficient tickets available for the match it will be down to the spiteful thinking of Llanelli. In my own opinion, I reckon it'd be better for all concerned if everyone who wanted to see the game could do so. I'm sure that would ensure good relations between both sets of fans and also provide a break from the all day piss-up which, from experience, away euro trips tend to be.
  5. Spot on! This is something that hasn't really been mentioned. Many of us have already booked flights and hotels which are non-refundable and will end up travelling with or without tickets. If this shitey wee pub team have any sense they will do their utmost to accomodate everyone who wants in or it could be less than pretty by the end of the night. All this because they couldn't accept the luck of the draw. What a bunch of greetin faced wee weans!
  6. Think our party are planning a post-match booze up in Swansea. I take it this ain't the best idea? At least we'll be team handed!
  7. Thats the first time I've watched the interview with Craggs and I have to say he's a top man! Heard him on other radio and TV's shows and he always speaks very well. Everything he said there was honest, articulate and well thought out. A real credit to our club and a refreshing change from some of the garbage McGhee spewed out in recent times. After 13 years service to the club and his recent efforts to help out during this transitional period I can safely say I will never give that guy stick again. One player I can definately say owes us nothing. A credit to the club and hopefully a future well manager. Sorry to go all Ice Rink on youz there by the way. Mon the Craggs!
  8. Agreed. Can't really get excited about the draw and the prospect of a euro tie whilst we are rudderless and operating with a skeleton squad. Moreover, the prospect of that goon McGhee and his wee lapdug trying to rob more of our players and shitanta going down the toilet has put me on a real downer. May it's just beacuse it's Monday? Time to sort this mess out JB. Time is running out.
  9. Sanchez definately looks to have the best CV of anyone mentioned so far and from the direct quotes it would appear he's willing to do the job without asking a barrow-load of dough. One thing we should all be aware of before we get carried away is the distinct possibility that if he does a good job, a la shovelface, he will most likely be out the door as soon as a decent club down south needs a new guy. As long as he makes his intentions clear from the start like big Ports and focusses on doing a good job while he's here then it's win-win and I'd have no problems with that. I just don't want to see us played for c*nts again. Dirty Sanchez. Brilliant
  10. Not only out of our league but out his bloody mind!
  11. They couldn't afford Clarky and I reckon he's sensible enough to know he could play at a better level (for a higher wage) than Aberdeen.
  12. An unreserved "no" from me. Totally fed up with the constant speculation. Every time a position opens up he's away tarting himself for it and neglecting his duties to his current employer. All this does is hurts us. It happened last season with FC Kaunas and we didn't bring in the right players to build on our 3rd place finish and it's happening all over again this year. If he were to stay, how much further would we fall next season? Besides, from what I've heard about his past, he seems like the sort of manager who makes an instant impact and then begins to slide as time progresses. After last season I've no reason to doubt this. Time up. Get the dough we are due for him and get someone in who is focussed on MFC and not purely his own personal gain.
  13. Not one team in there that we shouldn't tank the livin shite ootae!

Steady on Gok Wan. From a distance I reckon it (refering only to the top as I'm a bit old to be running around in the full kit) looks fairly similar. The collar isn't miles off. Claret band on amber back. Same basic design principles. Good to see the marketing strategy of drip feeding the design has got many folk suitably moist. Could be a lot worse and as long as the quality of the stuff is better than this season then we can't go far wrong.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks very similar to this seasons? Not exactly creaming myself. Unlike some
  16. Dunno if even the lure of european football could stop me abusing those twats and that wee ginger turncoat but I'll give it a try. 2 valium before kick off should do the trick
  17. Anyone else noticed the significant recent reduction of smug shite posted on these boards by our "friend" Farawaysaint? I'd personally like to put out a missing persons appeal for the guy. Not out of concern for his well being but purely to get his take on recent results and pass on a much deserved "get it right roon ye!" Back to the more familiar surroundings of Division 1 next season for an arsehole of a team with delusions of grandeur and small band of junkie followers. Here's hoping. FARAWAYSAINT, IF YOU'RE OUT THERE, I MISS YOU!
  18. Fair point but throughout history many great leaders have been know to babble a power of shite. I'm sure MM's been an avid follower of the mighty Well over the past 40 years
  19. Don't want to predict a score but it's an easy win for the junkies. Pathetic stuff from us in recent weeks and it looks as if many of the players minds are elsewhere. Just want the season to be over
