I paid for mine yesterday had to queue for about half an hour but that's expected for a Saturday.
One slight complaint why the need for the club to collect and store debit/credit card details including the three digit security key on the data base? This was done after the electronic debit process and must prove a possible risk to the cardholder.
Is it legal to collect card details in this way?

Awch, that sucks. I need to renew my season ticket.
Thanks for the info, will save me going up there and finding it closed
I could be wrong so give them a call.
-
Does anyone know what time the ticket office is open til on a Saturday? Can't find it on theofficial site. Cheers in advance.
Don't think it's opened at the moment on a Saturday mate.

Is this true? Even if Hibs have been entered as Scotland's second qualifier and we are Scotland's third qualifier?
Its nothing to do with with which round you enter.
The coefficients of all Scottish clubs are;
Rangers 56.158
Celtic 38.158
Aberdeen 12.158
Hearts 7.658
Motherwell 6.158
Hibernian 6.158
Falkirk 5.658
All other 5.158
Our's is more recent to Hibs so we're ranked above them
-
Complicating factor
Randers Fc of denmark have got the 3rd Fair play place and are higher ranking than us. This drops us down to 35th of the 70 teams. If Seville win the Spanish cup on 22nd May we will stay seeded but if Atletico Madrid win we will drop to 36th as Getafe will be in Round 3 instead of Nordsjælland .
This will make us unseeded but Hibs would remain seeded. That would irritate me somewhat !
Motherwell will definitely be seeded in both 2nd and 3rd Qualifying Rounds (if we make it) both Hibs and ourself hold the same coefficient we will be ranked above them due to our coefficient being more recent ie: last year.
The final placings will be settled after tonight's Sevilla v Athletico Copa del Rey Final.
If Sevilla win we're both seeded us 34th Hibs 35th but an Athletico win bumps us down to 35th and last seed and Hibs unseeded.

See, I'm confused.
13 Scotland 27.875
----------------------------------------
CL1=Glasgow Rangers 56.158 (ch/GS)
CL2=Celtic 38.158 (ch/Q3)
CW=Dundee United 5.158 (eu/Q4)
EL2=Hibernian 6.158 (eu/Q3)
EL3=Motherwell 6.158 (eu/Q4)
Does this not imply we are in round 4 and Hibs in a round earlier?
We start in Q2 mate hibs are Q3

I'm delighted that we are in Europe, but fuck Dundee United. I've no time for that club or their fans and they're getting no thanks from me.
We are in Europe, deservedly because of what WE have done this season.
Against all the odds, we've managed to finish not just in the top six, but fifth and probably deserved to have finished fourth as I think we've been better than Hibs over the piece.
The run that we put together from late January until late March was absolutely superb, as it was unbeleiveable, especially given the way things were going toward the end of 2009, so that's why we are deservedly in Europe just now, not because Dundee Utd beat Ross County in the Scottish Cup Final. I know you can argue, and rightly so that had they not done that then we wouldn't have qualified, but WE did all the hard work throughout the season so a big, big well done to everyone at Motherwell FC for what has to be considered as an excellent season.
Well said that man.

Fantastic news, pity it's only a one year deal as this lad has the making of a future club captain.
-
I think someone needs to resurrect the Ins and Outs thread
We need a new one for this year.
-
Ok -you ready for this.
The new motherwell strip will be radically different from anything we have seen in recent years. It will NOT have the hoop and (you ready for this) It will have very little, if any, claret on it. The New home top will be all amber (like our current away top) with white shorts and white socks. The new away top will be BLUE!!! and have BLACK shorts and BLACK socks.
This is to do with the terms of the deal - as we have a very basic suppliers contract with Puma and they will NOT be supplying a tailor made strip, nor do Puma make ANY of their templates in Claret. The reason for choosing the blue for away is because the club intend to spin this by telling us that it is a retro to to the 1890's and is meant to invoke the spirit of our heritage blah blah blah. Basically we cut a cheap deal wi Puma nd are trying to make the best of it. Might be interesting ala Arsenal in their centenary year, but the blue and black just aint motherwell ( hasnt been for nigh on a hundred years). Anyways you heard it here first.
This must be a wind up as our registered colours are claret and amber and as for a blue and black away strip they can gtf!!!!!

It's not just credit cards - the girl in the ticket office told me thay have been told to charge the 2.5% on ALL cards, even though the renewal notice only specifically mentions credit cards. First time have had to use a cheque in ages.
Charging a fee for a debit card is not on, someone needs to have a word with the staff in the ticket office.

Nothing to see here move along now.
-
Edited please merge

Hearts will beat us 3-0 today.
Nice one mate our chances of a good result have now improved.
-
Would love lappin back!
Can't see this happening as he was almost an ever present for Norwich this season.
-
better a young guy with potential than a guy whos so bad he,s keeping some fans away from games,
I saw this young guy warming up on Sunday and maybe he has potential but he looks tiny and stick thin for a keeper and imo would have no chance against against the giant opponents of this league.
-
Yes big man ibrox was the venue for the play off against morton and i think Hampden was the venue for the saints game.
Agreed.
-
Grabbed this from the Hearts kickback board.
It's simple enough there are 5 places available allocated thus
SPL 1st ->Champions League Group Stage
SPL 2nd ->Champions League 3rd Qualifier
Cup Winners ->Europa League 4th Qualifying round
SPL 3rd ->Europa League 3rd Qualifying round
SPL 4th->Europa League 2nd Qualifying round
If Ross county win the cup then they will go into the 4th qualifying round and no alterations will be needed.
If Dundee United win the cup and finish 3rd then they will go into the 4th qualifying round, the 4th place team will go into the 3rd round and the 5th place team will take their place in the 2nd qualifying round
SPL 1st, Rangers->Champions League Group Stage
SPL 2nd, Celtic ->Champions League 3rd Qualifier
Cup Winners, Dundee United ->Europa League 4th Qualifying round
SPL 4th, ? ->Europa League 3rd Qualifying round
SPL 5th-? >Europa League 2nd Qualifying round
If Dundee United win the cup and finish 2nd then they will go into the Champions League 3rd Qualifier instead of taking the cup winners place in the Europa League, Ross County will go into the Europa League 2nd Qualifying round, The 3rd place team will take the Europa League 4th Qualifying round spot and the 4th place team will move to
Europa League 3rd Qualifying round.
SPL 1st, Rangers->Champions League Group Stage
SPL 2nd, Dundee United ->Champions League 3rd Qualifier
SPL 3rd, Celtic ->Europa League 4th Qualifying round
SPL 4th,? ->Europa League 3rd Qualifying round
Cup Runners Up, Ross County->Europa League 2nd Qualifying round

No more saturday home games until next season.
Dundee United Sun @ 16.15 wtf
Hibs Thursday 7.45pm
Shafted indeed.
-
So its us that got shafted with 18 home and 20 away games plus three visit's to porkhead
-
Anybody got a plan 'B' ??
Aye plan B is for United to win the cup.
-
With Ross County having beaten Celtic in the semi-final it now means we have to finish at least fourth to get into Europe next season.
Personally I feel we can do it, what do you all think?
Well done to ex 'well duffers Derek Adams & Steven Craig.
Not true mate if United win the cup 5th place still gets it
-
I don't think that's right. I'm sure it has to be a Celtic-Utd final. I reckon Gordon Smith tried to make that the case, but was blocked by FIFA/UEFA. Could be wrong though.
Hmm! Now that I think of it the year Gretna got into europe as runners up Hearts never made the champions league.
-
Since when? Thought runners up got Europe
Only when the winner is entering the champions league via league position
