I had a friend who was an employee at Rangers and the standard practise there was to buy a discounted top from the shop and it would be passed around the dressing room to be signed by whoever was there on whatever date you had to pick it up at. So I would guess that actually buying the top is a fairly standard practise.

I couldn't agree more, but when did the Stewards get the mandate to manhandle weans?? If the club don't take anything forward on the stewarding then its left to Joe Public to start passing the grief back to them.

Okay there will be 2 sides to every story, but I'm sure that if you've enough witnesses who can collaborate your story, then you've every chance of moving forward with an assault charge against the steward here. Given that it's also against a minor, its probably press which the club aren't wanting also. Where's that Sun hack when you need him??

My wee fella gets in for 'free' with his passport which he gets through the community coaching. Okay the club gets my £16 a month for the coaching, but I don't mind so much, his frequent jaunts to the pie stall, as I've already saved the £6 from not having to pay him in. Probably most parents would take theirs along more often, if the load was lightened a little. Taking an under 12 to the footy is a good £35 without any alcohol involved. Its way too expensive, but these kids are the future of our club. It would even encourage them to take their pals along if all they had to shell out on was some food and drinks. And yes, students are scroungers and shouldn't be encouraged into the footy for less. They should in fact pay more, as its a distraction to their studies which the rest of us are paying for!!

I'd really like for us to have a stab at the CIS this year. By all means brings in some of the 'fringe' players, but I'd have a strong bench just in case. We could do with some Silverware and a wee trip to Hampden!!

The park looked excellent at the Kilmarnock game. Just curious as to what effect the weather has had on the park recently. Is it draining sufficiently? Has any remedial work had to be done on it?? Maybe someone in the know could update us on it.

Surely if some of the 1st team were playing it should be advertised to the hilt to maximise the revenue generated by this for the trust?? The fact that its advertised as Reserves and no mention of any others leaves me a bit sceptical as to whether others may turn out.

Saturday was the first time that my wee fella has used his 'Passport'. He attends the development centre and the passport is included in their monthly fee. All SPL home games except the Old Firm. Its a great initiative, I only found out about it late last season, although he's been attending the courses for over 3 years!

Yes there is an away kit, as these have to be registered with UEFA and SPL. No word on colour/style, but I'm led to believe that until the situation is fully known with Canterbury, we'll just have to wait for the time being or until such times as its worn.
