Wouldn't be surprised to see Erwin return as we were still in the market for a forward, no surprise he struggled to make a breakthough at Leeds as they have went through quite a few managers in his spell there.
David Ferguson signs for Ayr United.
Pretty much this tbf, Dom played 39 games for the club and made little to no impact and as time went on other youngsters got a chance within the first team and have never looked back. I think we would all liked to have seen the guy succeed but he just couldn't replicate his fine form he was showing for the reserves when he got a first team opportunity. Good luck to the guy.
Its no secret that the club's pitch is to give any potential signing a decent platform to play on with great exposure and with the understanding when a fair bid comes in it'll be accepted. Even if Moult accepts a contract offer, I still believe he would be off soon, a contract extension obviously puts us in a much stronger position in regards to getting the fee we want.
Yeah you're probably right. He done well to get a three year deal with Killie, at least if he makes any progress we will benefit. Lee McCulloch seems to be signing quite a few youngsters who have been on the cusp of first team football at other Scottish clubs, by all accounts he just missed out on signing Dylan Mackin as well who opted for Livingston.
Sounds like it was Thomas that wanted out of the club going by reports. At Least in the unlikely event that he goes onto big things the club are covered with a big sell on clause. Good luck to him.
Correct, he was then moved to the right side where again he made little impact. Assuming the rumours are true it will be interesting to see how the move pans out for Dom, he really could have done with a loan spell a year or so earlier.
Wishaw Times were reporting this earlier. Don't know their track record on transfers tbh.
Wouldn't be too sad to see him in fairness. Seemed to be destined for big things but the likes of Cadden, Hall etc done more when a first team berth presented itself.
Seen this Tweet from the Official St Mirren Twitter.
11' - Dundee take the lead. Samson can't catch from the corner and it's knocked over the line. [0-1]
I'm quite excited by all the players we have brought in this Summer, but moving Samson on will no doubt prove to be one of the best pieces of business we have done.
Yeah he is from the local area. Stays in the new estate on the old Motherwell College site. He's your stereotypical Celtic fan tbh.
Going to head along tonight again, hopefully see some of the guys who didn't feature on Saturday. Quite interested to know who Robinson wants to move on, i know Blyth is a likely candidate and perhaps a few youngsters.
I thought Dunne played alright tbh, any real issues today were caused by a McManus brain fart and Kipre being slow off the mark. Only 45 mins under his belt but i'm confident he will have more success than Jules, Chalmers and Straker.
Motherwell fans will be housed in the East Stand via turnstiles 9 & 10. (From Stirling twitter)
Looking forward to the football being back. Shame we won't see Bigirimana tomorrow also sounds like the other trialists will feature at some point.
Graham Carey signs a contract extension at Plymouth.
Scott Burns on Twitter mentions we are looking at Charles Dunne and Shaun Tuton, he is usually good on the Motherwell front, but a bit slow on this front as it was no secret they were training with us.
The Peterborough owner on Twitter was saying that they are currently negotiating with an SPFL club over the transfer of Shaq Coulthirst, I assume that will be us due to previous interest.
I remember against Killie he done something similar early in the 2014/15 season. Chasing a winger he just decided to stop, seconds later the ball of course was nestling in our net. Probably for the best he was struck down with an imaginary back injury that season.
