Just thought I would share this article (apologises as it the sun), I've always been intrigued by the story of Colin McNair, he seemed to be well en route to achieve big things in the game but drugs amongst other things put paid to that. I remember asking Jim Griffin about the square go they had but it turns out he had tried to split up a fight between Colin and Paul McGrillen and Jim ended up paying the price for it. I'm sure Tommy McLean mentioned somewhere that once when they returned from training Colins car had every tire slashed, he seemed to have vanished completely but seems he has had a troubled life up until now.

Highly doubt Alex Neil would be interested in the job seeing that he said he was not interested in the Rangers job last week. If Robinson can somehow pull a rabbit from the hat today I wouldn't be surprised to see him given the job, personally would prefer an experienced head to take the reigns but some of the names banded about like Duffy are a bit underwhelming.
Has the rule been changed? We got Twardzik on a months emergency loan before.
Have we actually managed any continuity this season in regards to team selection.
Aye Frear sorry. Noticed Boyd had a handful of Heneghans shirt at his goal which was missed. Nice to get a rub of the green though as it seems we have had no luck this season.
Just saw the penalty incident, Jules clearly and fairly wins the ball, refs in Scotland really are pathetic.
Nevertheless a great three points, hopefully we can push on a bit now.
He ruled himself out of the Rangers gig today, can see him getting his jotters soon at Norwich as they have suffered a few heavy defeats this season.
Guys on Mixlr were saying Valakari has officially applied, i think he would prob be in with a shout if we were looking in the summer, can see someone with experience getting the job this time, but if Robinson was a serious contender todays result won't have dampened his chances. Not the first time the club have threw a curve ball it'll be an interesting week or so as I'm sure the club will want to have the position filled sooner rather than later.
What was actually wrong with Vigurs? I was led to believe it was a long term back injury which threatened to end his career but he seemed to make a miraculous recovery when he left the club.
Laing had a great move to Australia lined up but the plug was pulled at the very last minute, seemed to be well down the pecking order in McGhees plans I don't know if that was mainly down to ability or the fact that he alongside Kennedy were apparently on a decent wedge. I think thats one of the reasons that irked Ben Hall.
The cup game later in the season was where we rode our luck where Twardzik made like four or five saves from one on ones. When we beat United under Black we were unlucky to have an Ainsworth goal wrongly chalked off for offside, remember leaving that game thinking that was the turning point but needless to saw it wasn't.
Going to head along to the Killie game more in hope than expectation, hopefully somehow we manage to dig out the three points but can't see us not conceding.
Looked like the 4th went right through him.
I'm usually ever the optimist but that was grim viewing, it will be a hard scrap ahead if we continue to gift goals like that. 17 goals conceded in 4 games.
Never nice to lose but with all things considered I thought we stuck to the task well. Apart from the rash decision at the penalty incident I was impressed with Jules at the back, enjoyed his two marauding runs forward and I thought Bowman done well also. Hopefully with that bad run of fixtures behind us we can now kick on, hopefully the injuries sustained today aren't too serious, would be nice to finally have a fully fit squad to choose from.
