McCall needs to take a large majority of the blame for the European result. His subs were ridiculous. He also was to blame for albion rovers and our dreadful cup performances in general. But he also has to take credit for motherwell being best of the rest 3 seasons in a row. We effectively have won the title that is within our reach for the past 3 seasons. This is a massive achievement for a club the size of motherwell. Anyone that wants McCall to go off the back of this is a complete fool.

You cant say that, 4 defenders and a goalkeeper - thats almost half their team. The aim of football is to score goals and not to concede. Hibs cant do half of that objective so you cant say that they are a better team than us.

Jury is still out for me on McCall, personally would have gone with someone like Jimmy Calderwood, but how can you possibly make this statement after the length of time he has been in charge? Absolutly ridiculous statement! McCall does a simple thing like sending an e-mail, something that he doesnt have to do, to let fans get his opinion, and he gets slated for it! If you dont like the e-mails then dont read them!

Challenging for Europe every season! Having a manager here for a year isn't ideal, however we have been in a lot worse situations. The most importamt factor is the guy is a good manager. If he is ambitious and sees this as a move to bigger and better things then fine... as long as he is able to deliver the goods for motherwell

Having gone from centre backs being one of the main worries in the team, i now think that we have a number of good players that can play in the position. IMO craigan has been a brilliant servant to the club, but Saunders, Reynolds and Hutchinson are all ahead of him at the moment in the pecking order. Who would your first choice pairing be from a fully fit squad?

we have a boy at the age of 17 on our hands who runs at players and takes them on like nothing ive seen since mcfadden. he has the pace that mcfadden didnt have. now im not saying that he is going to be better than mcfadden, but he is potentially the next best thing. lets get behind the boy, give him the encouragement that he deserves. if he fucks us over then booo him, but give the boy a chance while he is playing with us!

Dont know if his players would be fired up cause he's playing against his old team. I think it'll be more the other way, there are a lot of young boys in this motherwell team that never got a chance under mcghee and they will be wanting to prove something to him! Along with taking a good sized crowed I can see our players really fired up and come flying out the blocks. 2-0 to the well

I dont understand the praise he gets! No end product, compare his impact on the game and Paul slanes impact, slane was miles better and opened up the game much more than obrien. and he is in the paper every week talking about how much he would love to go back to celtic.

No matter how big a well fan I am, I will never support a team that colin colderwood manages including Motherwell! If he was appointed I would hand my season ticket back until he left!

Got to say I am a McGhee fan, but I totally agree with everything that you say. Dont see why Hughes should have started. what does that say to the guys that are going to be here next season? I was also disappointed that Mcghee didnt come out with the players after the game to show his appreciation to the fans. One of the major flaws with McGhee is his inability to strike up any sort of relationship with the fans. Whatever his feelings towards the fans, ultimately it is us that pay his wages, many spend a lot of money on coming to the matches, I feel saddened that he did not show a bit of respect to thank the fans by simply coming out and clapping after the game e.g. Jim Jeffries with the Killie fans.

Doesnt matter what the price is, Killie's away support is non existent, always has been, always will. Seeing as ur brother is not coming thats like half ur support, so we will have to double your price! Simple maths!

This sums up some Motherwell fans, who for the record clearly do not know what they are talking about e.g. calling this an advertising campagin when it clearly involves no form of advertising. Whilst most fans look at it from their personal perspective, many fail to recognise the bigger picture. The campaign involves improving public relations and generating a bit of excitement around the new kit. IMO the launching of a new kit is more exciting for kids rather than adults, and this should be recognised by the club. More kids are likely to buy the strip than adults, therefore I do not see why a campaign designed to induce a bit of excitment in the younger fans can be viewed negatively. For me this is a small but clear indication that the club is moving in the right direction.

Seeing as we are looking at stats does anyone know how many goals have came from midfield this year and how that compares to other clubs? I can only remember Boab's free kicks and Klimpl's and fitzy's against dundee utd, think this is an area that we should try and improve on next season.

When McCormack left Mcghee's words were that we didnt need to sign a replacement because we had one in jamie murphy and again he said that murphy was the only positive out of the game yesterday. Same with the right back saunders when he played against hamilton. I dont see why these players arent starting. Mcghee said his main problem with the players was motivation. Im sure the younger players would be motivated to try and break into the first team. We have nothing to play for so give these guys a chance!

Think klimpl and lasley in the middle battling can eliminate the threat of dorman and will allow hughes the freedom on the ball to create. Motherwell for a 3-1 victory!

i will never be back unless its the scottish cup or a major game. got the subway in from the city centre and why there is not police on them i do not know! grown men singin songs that would be immature and narrow minded for a 12 year old to sing. Was playing a game spot the respectable looking rangers fan and in all seriousness it was really hard, they all look like the dregs of soceity! How any person with a bit of self respect can support them I do not know!

Mcghee is by no means exempt from critisism. IMO he should have brought subs on earlier and murphy should be given time to try and influence the game. But there is fair and unfair critisism and my fear is that the only opinions mcghee can hear are those that are shoutin he is an embarassment. The major fear i have is that when a bigger club comes in, Mcghee will give the old barry ferguson gesture to the fans and be on his way, and i could not blame him for doing it!

Already said that Mcghee is open to critisim and i thought that he got some decisions wrong on sat. Think it is more trust we should show rather than loyalty. The guy has proved that in the majority of cases he has got it right.On a few occasions he has got it wrong and every time he does he gets slated! It seems that we cant acknowledge that he gets it wrong from time to time.

Mcghee was taking pelters long before the clarkson substitution. After almost every home game you can see that McGhee is annoyed with the people in the main stand shouting at him and the players. My fear is that if a job, similar to the hearts one became avaliable, then Mcghee would take it. If we show him no loyalty for what he has done, why should he show us any?
