Anyone know how much prize money we will get for 2nd place?

9. 6.5% (up 0.5 % on last year )
10. 6.0% (up 0.5 % on last year )
11. 5.5% (up 0.5 % on last year )
12. 5.0% (up 0.5 % on last year )

Duh, I know that, but what's with the last minute rush, is there NO deal for next season?
Have the TV mob threatened to invoke the "must have both old firm teams" clause that allows them to walk away?
Maybe they made a mistake and insisted on a vague 'league reconstruction' clause and were told 'we' can swing the 12-12 -8-8-8 only to be shafted with a play off- "well that's reconstruction ain't it?" ?

(2) League restructuring,
(3) Distribution model of finance,
(4) Squad size,
(5) Under 21 rules
(6) Season start date,
(7) Number of home live TV matches,
(8 ) Salary capping
I would gues some 'big' clubs would want to retain (1), (4), (7) and (8 ) with Celtic wanting (6) for their 'glamour' friendly.

But if you finish in a play off spot it's not 'one maybe two performances'.

Just to clarify The profit was for 2010/11. The loss if for 2011/12.
To avoid a loss 2012/13 we had to cut 1/4 million an we have done that.
The Euro money was a wee bit extra so we can now sign another and still put a wee bit by for a rainy day which we need to do because we have zero overdraft facitlies?

Depends if you only include first team players. I'm sure some small fees and compensation will have been paid when bringing in some of the youngsters from elsewhere.
Aye, according to Football Finances we paid £3,000 for someone in 2009 (or maybe two for £1,500 each!)

Don't know if it has increased but UEFA Champions League 2009/2010 all qualifying rounds were 130.000 €

I may be wrong. Is this years deal not safe? Is it not unsigned future tv deal which would get reduced. If that is the case the spl should just put next years rights out to tender.
There have been so many lies and spin it's difficult to tell.
I thought they had a year (or two) left on their deal. They renegotiated to extend the deal and as such, increased the amount by about £3 million per year. Now that new deal is in doubt. So does the 'orignal' one remain?
One fact is Doncaster and the rest have, for the past few weeks, told everyone that Newco are vital and without them Scottish footbal is cack.
What he should have been saying is 'Rangers (I know) are in the 3rd, it'll never happen again what an great opportunity for something unique, what with this new league structure and play offs, everyones talking about Scottish football. Come on and buy us up"
And for that alone he should be punted.
And don't even mention
(1) "we need a 10 team SPL or we'll lose millions."
(2) "come on, vote them in, we'll give you 16 team league; don't and we'll lose millions"
