Think he said he is still feeling a bit of an injury thats not cleared. Would imagine he'll get brought on for the last 10 mins on sunday, will get a brilliant reception.

Now that it is a friendly for both teams we need to do something to encourage fans to come along. It has been a huge success for both teams so should be a carnival, go on Motherwell let everyone in for a couple of quid and fill the place.
Definitely! No one is going to pay the full price for an end of season game even if we have just qualified for the CL
£5 for adults, £1 for kids, simple.

I know, its getting quite annoying now, the way we are playing and against a pish rangers team we should be looking to win, Dundee united were absolute pish on wednesday night so the 5-0 scoreline flatters rangers a bit.

McCall says our winless run against rangers will probably continue and alot of rangers players are playing their last home game so will make it much more difficult. What a way to fill us with belief!

How the fuck is he still taking money from being a linesman? Was he the lino down at Killie last week btw, if not it was someone who looked like him.
Aye he was i think, he's a wee wank, why the fuck wasn't some sort of action taken after the ross forbes incident. I can understand refs and linesmen making mistakes but he was about 5 yards on side

Thought we played very well today and were desperately unlucky.
Mccall should have made at least 1 change with about 15-20 mins left to freshen things up but.
Next week is a MUST WIN. Dundee united and st johnstone are too close for comfort although i think st jonhstone will fall away.

Why do refs everywhere have to be complete cocks and make stupid decisions? It even happens in my amateur ice hockey!
Obviosuly it's hard to get decisions right when they get 1 look and somethimes it can be quite high paced and difficult to see.
But how the **** did that linesman not see that one yesterday?? I think thomson probably thought it was a corner and the linesman - like all linesmen - was too much of a shitebag to overrule him.

Agreed, thomson is a cock. But when does the story become - "the ref made a terrible decsion" or "the player is a diving prick".
Yesterdays decision was disgraceful but, surely one of them knew it wasn't a corner??

The penalty in that german game isn't that bad a decision, the player completely conned him, he waited till the defender cut across the back of him before going down so i don't really think the ref can be blamed for that. When you watch it the first time, not slo-mo, it looks like a foul.
HOWEVER
Yesterdays decision was shocking, i agree with Martin, there should be some sort of punishment for giving a decision like that.
And on another note, linesmen are generally responsibility-shy wanks and usually shite it from giving decisions even when they've got a great view. I think they think their jobs are just to indicate for the crowd what the refs decision is
The linesman in that penalty never even done anything and he was twice as close as thomson haha

When down to pick up tickets today. Couldn't get East Stand or even Cooper, apparently they are sold out. Not daft about the POD it can be a bit quiet at times, but I'm sure the atmosphere will spill over into all stands tomorrow night. This could really be a record crowd for a non-OF game during the SPL era of Motherwell.
Should be a huge crowd, more than 10k???Not sure how many fans Hibs will bring considering they're playing gash, but its PATG for them so maybe that'll encourage a few more fans.
