Here I thought this would be about the 'Proof of age required' for concession season ticket renewal.
Dragging a 77 year old man down to Fir Park to see if he qualifies for the ticket he's been entitled to since 1991 and been a season ticket holder in some capacity for years before it.
Enjoy yersel's next season. I'm oot.

Nijholt and Maathai
-
Chris McCart has emerged as a strong contender for the post.
The Fir Park legend is in charge of youth development at Celtic.
But he would be a popular choice among fans after spending his whole playing career at Fir Park.
Didnae spend nearly 2 seasons with Falkirk then? Lazy journalism at it's best.

Done deal.
It's Dundee mate, the glue must be fucking with your accent.

I don't disagree with what you say, but the question was what was Motherwell's best performance, your last sentence suggests that you actually agree it wasn't the best.
If the question had been what was the greatest Motherwell game you had seen then there is no agrument that game is up there.
It may not have been a great technical performance, but we showed guts and desire to come back twice against Celtic, not going to get into semantics but I still rate our performance that night as something quite awesome.
-
I'm surprised at that one, we were completely overrun in the first half and should have been at least 3 down at half time. Dougie goals came completely against the run of play and while we improved in the second half it was hardly a great performance, in fact we were far better in the first game, which we should have won (blatant penalty - no surprise - and Ferguson hitting the bar).
I think I need to take the bait here, we rode our luck and the HT score could maybe have been 3-1 Celtic if Coyne had shown some composure, but he didn't, so 2 down at HT, not 3, the football leading to our 2nd goal and the ball in from Nijholt was superb. The build up to our 3rd started at our goal line almost, we played some 1 - 2's and found ourselves with a shy just inside their half.
Watching the whole game is something I never tire of doing, I've watched the Hearts semi (complete) maybe twice, we were against the odds from the start against Celtic and after a shambolic start rolled up the sleeves and put 4 goals past Celtic for the 1st time in my lifetime. Technically the performance may not have been 'the best' but the manner of the victory, the scoreline and eventual outcome from that game puts it right up there.

Didn't see that mate, cheers! Interesting all the same. I think the overwhelming opinion amongst we 'Well fans, and also one or two interested others I have spoken to, is get Nijholt in now.
and every one of us pointed to Mcghee the last time we needed a manager eh?
-
Why is everyone so keen on Nijholt, what are his achievments in management?
Apparently world champ at Footy Manager 09
-
I remember you suggesting Keegan after Malpas got the bullet - at the time I agreed with you (even though I wasn't sure you were being serious!). Keegan would be a good motivator and he would no doubt attract players because of who he is -his sides never win anything but they were always great to watch.
I would love it if we get him. Love it
Stuart.
I think Keegan would be an inspired choice as our new manager.

Kevin Keegan.

Aberdeen may be a side-step career wise,
I was talking about Clarky, not Mcghee
-
All i can say is that it will be a sad day if Clarky ever leaves the 'well, can't imagine him playing against us.
I wouldn't grudge Clarky a step up, but Aberdeen would probably be sideways rather than up for him
-
But, did he wipe back to front or front to back, and if no one else was in the house, did he lock the door?
Call this a fucking exclusive?
-
For some reason I thought we'd buy ready grown turf and not rely on seeding with an area like the one in front of the South stand. I'm no expert though and I suspect the answer will lie somewhere in the 'it's better this way' and not 'it's cheaper this way'.
Fuck the new signings I cannot wait to see the pitch restored to something like the quality we used to have.

To say I'd love to pump any burd, would be the understatement of the century...
fixed.

I always thought Paul Lambert's debut was a cracking display against Hearts, so was winning at Tynecastle at the 22nd attempt on a pishing wet night in November.
Worst? - noo yer asking
-
No, but you've missed the fat that Melvin was a year younger last season.
So was everybody else......
-
What does that show and what does it have to do with a shirt sponsorship deal of a football club?
-
Fuck all to do with me.

, I know it's "Layman's" aint it - common mistake that one.
or a clever play on words.

@Yabba
we will still have the slope. We will always have the slope but this time it will be a flat slope if ye ken with a mean it sounds really daft but our playing surface will be flat instead of bumpy
a flat slope! honest!
Aye, it was more of a hollow at one point than a slope Looking forward to seeing it finished.
-
So will our slope be laser guided flat? Surely they can't be raising the corner at the Cooper/Main to make the park flat?

I've got all 4 games played on Fir Park on dvd, just a pity you couldn't get your game filmed, it's something I'll look back on in a few years and think, 'look at that fat bastard trying to play fitba'

Don't be surprised Dave, I think Luc's been sounded out by Motherwell.
