It may have done Forbes a lot of good to get regular competitive football,the boy is certainly gifted. Like you say his striking from dead balls can be superb. he did only score once at Dumbarton and is nearly 20 but has never started or made an appearance in the SPL( I may be wrong regards sub appearances). Not having a go at the guy but more a point that in Scotland you are still viewed as a young/youth team player until you are 22/23.

I see St. Mirren have signed Higdon from Falkirk. I was hoping we would make a move for the big lump as a useful SPL player but I suppose strikers are not the main priority at the moment.

The noises this Melville character is making sound exactly like JB's plans for ourselves. I mean Dundee have already been in administration. He recently said something along the lines of "Dundee will owe no debt as soon as I conclude a deal to transfer ownership of the stadium to my name". I'd be worried if I supported them
