  1. We should be proud! That fanny makes dresses - if he thought ours was the nicest I'd be worried
  2. I've never hoped as much that we DON'T sign a player. Gimme Marlon Harewood, Lee Hughes, Boab Malcolm or Gavin Grant over this charlatan any time
  3. It's only a matter of time before someone provides the annual "I was pished and fell against a roughcast wall" test. From what Frazzle said I ain't holdin out much hope on that one. From what I've heard it's worse than last year with the sponsor's logo falling off
  4. I know you know this . . . . . However I'd imagine as the release date is agreed with the club then yer no gonna get it befor 9.00 am tomorra. legal, logistical - whatever. Again the shysters at Provan . Try gettin a new release CD on a Sunday Unfortunate aye - straightforward also aye
  5. Randolph has been text book in everything he had to do so far - his kicking has been spot on. he hasn't been asked to do much as of yet, but i fail to see where we can start to moan about him already. this will come in good time and we can all pile in - I canny wait! Also we've spent something like £300K more than the two saints on our pitch over two seasons - which is a place to start on your first question
  6. I'd be happier if we signed Gloria Esteban
  7. I was referring to the way that you were doing it. Loads of us think we can do it - we just don't behave like a pillock in the process and post like you have that we're going to fuckin tank them. How many folk have said to you about toning it down a wee bit so you don't look like a dick? If we end up getting tanked folk will be hunting you down for jinxing us
  8. There are loads of folks who just don't take part in the prediction game - and I'd wager even the ones who realistically look at the game and think - "it would be good to bring the game back to Fir Park with anything up to a one goal deficit" will still get behind the team from the very start. We all will FFS. Folk don't like mentalist youthful over cocky predictions as we've been in that movie way too many times. We're all 100% behind the well - just keeping a lid on it - so that we don't look like tools if it goes pete tong. Realism beats mentalism all the time mate
  9. The build up on the Beeb should be an interesting read for Motherwell89 (and anyone else who has forgotten about MyPa-47
  10. No - I was meaning genuine flak - for, as a business, taking money / funds to help us operate on a daily basis from a charity. I don't know if our alluded to deal will be structured in the way that others have worked. In the cases I've heard of, which are Barca, Sheffield Wed, Aston Villa, Airdrie - the charity organisations logo was either awarded to the organisation by the club as a gesture or in the absence of a main sponsor - or in the case of Airdrie was placed their by a business who waived the right to have their name placed and promoted the charity instead. I personally have never heard of a charity - using funds to sponsor a team's shirt but understand like all other organisations and businesses and other agencies they will have an advertising budget. I'm asking if anyone knows of any deals to date where the charity has parted with cash.
  11. Right serious question time. IF this all transpires as mentioned / hinted / alluded to / riddled about. a) will we be the first club to actually be sponsored by a charity? (i.e. take money from a charitys advertising budget as opposed to having a charity logo placed on the shirt Barca, Villa, Airdrie style) b) IF so are we prepared for the inevitable flak? Edit: I really hope the deal is structured in a way that it gets us some real positive press and works for the org in question.
  12. It's not really - because if we end up winning then you don't really end up looking like a prize pilchard.
  13. Folk are cringing and kinda hopin you fuckin 'can it' mate - in case you jinx us.

The Skol Cup worked for a while did it not? - knock-out competition - over and done with by October / November. Fell away when they rebranded / reformatted it and rolled it over into the following year.
  15. I thought I'd post some of these images so that some of you over confident fudholes can cut and paste quickly if it all goes wrong on Thursday!
  16. Perhaps it may have been raised elsewhere by one of our esteemed forum members, However I'd like to add the name of Simon Lappin to the list! Toodle pip
  17. To be fair - there are a few posts where the 'alleged' sponsor has been disclosed / hinted at / joked about
  18. Ports, McCormack, Clarky, Juke, Fat Arse
  19. Aye - all the very best big fella
  20. While Cakes is obviously correct - there are a few wee uncomfortable grains of truth in Psycho1991's post too.
