I think they'll have another couple of bashes at Harlaw Park. It's down to the clubs whether they agree to switch it. After 3 attempts MFC (& ILFC) can then start to suggest alternatives. But I think if they agree they can have another couple of attempts at staging it in Inverurie if that's what they want. Is that not what happens?

Good post Tree, although. . . . Jim O'Brien will never be good enough for some folk on here. They've singled him out from day one and it's got nowt to do with football. I suspect it's the ROI / Celtic thing. He's the same age as guys in our squad that get completely different treatment on here - because they're just young lads coming through and they get loads of lee-way and encouragement. I say put your prejudices to one side and support the lad.

Probably! We all like Buzz - he seems like a decent fella! He has improved - and I'll leave it at that. But the facs are this - as is his prerogative - he's holding out for a better deal and stalling on the one offered. This leaves the club in a position where they may or may not have an experienced full time keeper on the books at the end of the transfer window. McGhee now needs to bring a keeper in as contingency and in doing so needs to balance the cost of that against keeping buzz (and paying him more) - or bringing in a contingency that doesn't appear to be breaking the bank. If Buzz doesnt go and McGhee brings in another costly keeper - on top of the Brum one on loan - he'll get (quite rightly) reamed. Looks like decent business sense to me.

Andy - take it easy mate - It's the Motherwell equivalent of the Rangers 'We Deserve Better' campaign on here. Everybody knew about the pitch and the weather (and the obvious risks) well before the tie.
