  1. I think you're being silly and difficult and choosing to listen to what you want to listen to. Very similar circumstance to JG IMHO.
  2. And has been discussed ad infinitum The aims and objectives of the two managers were very different. We can agree or disagree with their approaches but you cant disregard it as a fact - one was aiming to build longer term one was focusing game to game.
  3. OTF - it amazes me how we go round and round with this one and hardly anyone bows to your greater wisdom. perhaps they just don't read the threads me old son. Look forward to the GGGoH thread next year also. Hoping against hope that we eventually get it right. The raw materials and the weather are a huge part of the equation but the actions taken by men are also a huge factor. I think this is our last chance, as a club. Not hopeful.
  4. Any team knocking the ball about the deck at pace and making good incisive runs will tear our guys apart.

Three thousand odd x 2 = Six thousand odd (rounding up like) Calm doon a wee bit steelboy. The initiative added to the gate and the atmosphere that was the intention. We added 2000 anyway.
  6. I disagree unfortunately ladywell Outwith the U16 in the Cooper initiative. The ST renewal communication indicates that we plan to keep our approach to pricing the same for the entire season. If the prices for ST's are frozen - then we can assume that PATG prices for the year will remain the same.
  7. I fink it's toniz Tomoz is the lection
  8. I think the airfinz and ya bezzer posts sum up the whole catch 22 situation. Football is too expensive - airfinz is 100% correct and scottish footbal never mind MFC should be concerned if guys like him are deciding to give football a miss more often. There's no quick fix - as Ya Bezzer! says, reducing prices isn't going to immediately increase attendances and clubs are scared to take the hit. The realisation that things are gonna come to a grinding halt is becoming more and more apparent.
  9. When you originally got yer ST - did someone go up and pay it for ya? Reason I ask is I get 2 letters in - the 2nd being (I think)because I bought my brother's for him last year. So my info will be on twice. just a thought.
  10. Also, Gannon wasn't sacked for results (not my words) so why should the club allude to them in an official letter to the support. I think Craigan and Reynolds have been excellent since Broon came in too - but then we've reverted to a more traditional style of play. Gannon tried a different game that excited a few of us - and in that style of play Craigan couldn't cut it just so well - Reynolds however could and slotted in well. However this thread is about Mark Reynolds. Hats off to the fella.
  11. I hate posts like that! Added to the fact it's on the telly and we're reducing prices. Horsed!
  12. Beginning to sound like a broken record - but that was my thoughts exactly when I read the renewal letter. Why can't they give it a fucking rest. Sounds like they phoned McGarry or Craigan for the stats on the Gannon era.
  13. The age old debate. Season ticket holders give the club the ability to plan ahead for the year. PATG punters keep things ticking over throughout. Both equally important to the survival of the club.
  14. I hope it's his last game I hope he gets a great move I hope we get some decent dosh And I hope he gets a decent send off tonight - smashing player and a tad underrated
  15. We were a football team that went tits up - a lot of 3 year deals went out the window.
  16. It was the UK operation that got into bother I think and were taken over by one of the big sports retailers. They're still on the go pretty much - concentrating once again solely on rugby. Canterbury Globally were relatively unaffected
  17. I'm not going on Wednesday unless Fraser's back in goals!
  18. Threads like these are amazing. Like some of the threads where the current crop of players get lambasted for being shite we get threads like this that recommend players to be signed. Who in the name of fuck would anyone replace in our current shite squad with Charlie Miller?
  19. This is not a pop at anyone, however for a good couple of seasons now - we've been heralding news of X, Y or Z on a number of initiatives / pieces of news and failing to deliver. It seems to be a systemic issue on that side of things at the club. only change ever witnessed was the way gannon dealt with new signings. but irt seems we're back to the old ways of naming players beforehand.
  20. He's a wee fat useless grade A wank. A salary for him at the expense of a promising footballer should be a criminal offence
  21. Two generally good bits of news. Perhaps not meriting the trumpets - but hey maybe from within the towers they appeared more exciting
  22. To be fair that might be saliva. Guy behind us is heading for a heart attack - was in a right horrible mood last time out and was dishing out pelters befor the game started. Shouting that hard that big globules of slevers were landing on johnstone. Not pleasant at all
  23. I'm no' being funny. In fact i'm just asking. But . . . . . . Since we're nearly at the end of the working week - has anybody deciphered what the two major announcements were?
